Loved-up Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton sneaked off for a romantic weekend – under the names of Mr and Mrs Smith.
Kate used the popular aliases to book them into a holiday home as a birthday treat for Wills, who turned 27 yesterday.
But any hopes the famously shy couple had of a private break were dashed when Wills’ brother Harry, 24 – and a bunch of pals – tagged along. And instead of a romantic dinner on Friday, the lovers went to a boozy beach barbie.
A source said: “They have been staying at private house under the assumed name Mr and Mrs Smith.”
“It is quite funny really that they feel they need to go to such great lengths to keep their visit a secret – but I suppose it adds to the romance.” The couple’s made-up names mirror those of Charles and Camilla, who famously used to refer to themselves in code as Fred and Gladys.”

Prince William ‘hunting for five-million-pound honeypad in US’
London (PTI) Like many, it seems that Prince William also hopes to cash in on the global credit crunch — he is said to be hunting for a five-million-pound beachfront honeypad in the United States.
If William does buy a luxury hideaway, he could turn it into a love nest with his girlfriend Kate Middleton. Their on-off relationship has become serious again and she could end up working in America for a year, the ‘Daily Star’ reported.
In fact, Middleton has an offer from Vogue boss Anna Wintour to take a sabbatical in New York while serving an internship on the magazine’s staff. But it also has a thriving West Coast bureau and a temporary move to California may be far more appealing.
A source close to the royals said: “Her apparent lack of direction has become a stick with which people are beating her. So it would make sense for Kate to move to Malibu when William finds a place to buy. He’d have his investment, she’d be there looking after it and she would also have a steady job that would keep her critics quiet.”

Well it might not all be that out of the percentage of truth. It would be a good investment.
So many U.S. stories; the Queen’s best friend the First Lady Michelle Obama, Prince Harry keen to go back – Sentable and now William.
Seriously, do these writers not have a single clue what heir to the throne really means? There is no way that Prince William will be allowed to spend an extended period of time outside of the country. Furthermore, even if he were to buy a hideaway home, it would not be in the Malibu which is a papparazzi rich environment. So many more secluded places he could choose.
As for Kate’s lack of direction — she is working in the family business. It’s a job and one she would be expected to be doing if she were not dating a Prince. So, I would say she is just fine careerwise.
Cornwall last weekend had great weather, hope they all enjoyed.
Guessing, I bet Guy, Thomas and Melissa where there. Wonder if Harry took some female friend.

I have a question for everyone. The below article is a Katie Nicholl article so obviously we take it with a grain of salt but it mentions that Harry was going to take Caroline Flack to Cornwall. Isn’t that a little coincidental that William, Kate Harry and some chums then just happen to go to Cornwall for his birthday? Could the split have been a ruse??

I think as the articles of William’s birthday mentions, Kate made the reservations of an exclusive private property, so therefore it must have had more than enough time to do the planning. Harry knew he will be at his brothers birthday, invited Caroline at that time (June 13) but then on I’m clueless with Harry’s female friends.
I also do not think everything William and Kate do has to be a romantic getaway. Its William’s birthday after all, the very close go.
Well I’m sure the couple had some time alone but it seems like they all had fun for his birthday.

The Ibiza trip was in 2006. I find it interesting hat this particular picture, showing a PDA if you will, has failed to surface until now. It has never been included in any of the pictures publicly available from that trip. Curiouser and curiouser.
Well I guess there are many other pictures out there of the couple but just not published.

That picture of William and Kate lounging together are from their Ibiza trip a few years back. Her parents, Pippa, JJ, James, and another girl, Mr. & Mrs. Middleton, they were all on that yacht when that photo was taken. There are tons of those pictures out there. Sorry you missed them Rman. What I find funny are the LIARS who say they never show PDA publicily. Well those pictures of him and her nearly naked, with her head in his lap and his hand on her bare belly are about as intimate as you can get for this family blog. LOL
well in reality, this couple never goes alone to holidays by themselves. Either they go with KM’s relatives, or they go with PW’s friends and relatives. It doesnt seem to me like they want to spend time alone together because if they wanted to, they could’ve said something so that Harry and friends would not stick to them. I am pretty sure that Harry and friends would have understood this perfectly. All couples want to spend time alone. So I dont think they really aim to spend any romantic holidays alone.
I tend to see Harry, Chelsy, KM and PW partying, clubbing, getting drunk and acting foolish all the time. I wander whether these people are actually mature enough to represent the defendors of the faith once PW or Prince Harry become kings and once KM or Chelsy David become queens. A good defendor of the faith does not lead this type of life.
Well I notice that William & Kate take some time to themseleves then later they include their friends or family. Like last year when William finished his training in the caribbean, Kate went to spend some alone time with him before her family arrived so yeah they have their time alone.

The one that is hard to find from that trip is the one where William apparently looks to be pulling her bikini top off and she was having none of that! I don’t blame her as her parents were w/them but not at that particular part of the boat. I have only seen the pic once or twice, I think it might have been published in mags long time ago.

LOL well it’s pretty hard to control yourself when your girlfriend is in a bikini, her body is glistening from the sun or water is dripping from her body. That kind of stuff drives me wild so William probably couldn’t help himself. I can tell that they can be pretty naughty in private.
I’m sure they show each other affection in public. They just try not to do it when there’s a camera around, and pictures of them showing each other affection are rare.

what is the point with KM and PW changing their names. Every time they do that the media finds out anyways where they are. Who are they trying to fool? Why do poeple care if PW & KM go on vacation w/friends & family. I think its great. I am sure they spend plenty of time alone being romantic so I am sure a nice vacation w/friends away from the paps is fun & relaxing for them. Also, I like how PW vacations w/KM’s family – Diana & PC seemed to have never been around Diana’s family.
Actually, Teresa, Prince William tried to pull off the top and Kate stopped him. So, if it is a matter of who was behaving respectably, I would say Kate was, not William.
Of course, they are both young and in love, so a certain amount of sexy playfulness is to be expected. It is much better than indifference to each other.

When people are in love with each other, they do some crazy things. There’s nothing wrong with William playing around with his girlfriend.
I think one of the Queen’s cousins told alittle story of many years ago when the royal couple (Elizabeth & Philip) was out on a walkabout and one member of the public told Prince Philip that the Queen’s skin looks very beautiful and replied to her by saying that the Queen’s skin looks like that all over. So all the royals have a naughty side to them, they are human before they are royal.

Lisa, that’s why I said I have only seen it one or two times and I believe it might have actually been on a TV program about the two. They were showing various covers of mags w/Kate and William on them and I believe that pic was on one. It exist, as to finding it well it might have been removed for a reason like alot of pics we don’t see of Kate and William. They looked very much in love in those pics and he was being extremely playful w/Kate. Kate stopped him, nothing was shown. The pic has probably been removed as CH might not want William pic doing that. Like Rosetta said I would rather see him be loving and playful then nothing.
Whose the brunette w/Autumn in Hello pics? She looks familar. Maybe Kate was hiding in the tent cause Autumn was there and they were afraid they would end up in HELLO, which is what happened. As that one pic of Autumn w/brunette I have not seen on major photo outlets. I did see one of just Autumn though. I was surprised that Autumn was there as you don’t usually see her at the same polo events that William and Harry are in or atleast none that I am aware of.
JJ, never seen that pic! Wow, sounds like that trip should have been for Kate and William only! He could not keep his hands off of her and there is nothing wrong w/it, they are in love and Kate looks fantastic in bathing suit! Now they have become much more media savy and those type of pics will be few and far between.

I liked he top too, but as I said before empire tops can cause people to think the wrong things because of the fabic being loose around mid area. With they way they act privately I would not be surprised if after they marry they have many children or atleast I hope so as they will be so cute!

Kate Middleton never pulled her top off in those Ibiza pics. That was Pippa sitting on the edge of that boat checking her top and it was her then boyfriend JJ Jardine Patterson in ORANGE TRUNKS who was squirting her with a water hose at the back of that boat.
I wish people would STOP COMING TO THIS SITE LYING about what Kate Middleton has done. Those pictures were analyzed ad nauseum when they came out and that was PIPPA checking herself discretely. Go back to RT where the lies abound and posting INNOCUOUS pictures of Kate on Twitter is allowed.
