It’s not perverted to dislike someone, but for some people to go out of their way and to write nasty things on websites and youtube and facebook and twitter, etc about someone they don’t actually know, – well that’s starting to get a bit perverted in my book…

I like you so this is not meant as an attack I just want to make a point. All of you will be disappointed always in life if you think it is “perverted” to dislike someone.

In reality, we are all liked and disliked no matter who we are or where we go, it is the norm. It is ordinary for each person to be both liked and disliked — and all of you are saying you like Kate Middleton precisely because she is normal. So why then have problems when she is handled just like you and me? You and I are both liked and disliked in our ordinary lives are we not?

Hello,

MJ like you I now only post occasionally but read read consistently.

The site is called BRW and so most posters use it to discuss or anticipate the the proposed date of a particular wedding. Any reason to project a new date, a birthday, an anniversarry and sometimes even the conflicting paths of certain planets can suddenly lead to a new date and all in a well meaning and (in the past) a pleasant conversational manner.

Unfortunately at some stage the site attracted attention because of the quality of many posts and as you so correctly point out ‘haters’ join in ,many to surreptitiously spew a certain amout of hatred for their own perverted satisfaction very much to the detriment of the site. Again unfortunately they also spitefully turn their spleen on established posters who recognise them for what they are and so the site deteriorates into several slanging matches.

There are now a few of these who have ingratiated themselves with some of the decent established posters and by using what can only be described as ‘professional’ tricks to enhance photographs and information from other sources, have at times taken over the site.

Yes as you say they come to annoy and spread their own nasty thoughts and unfortunately many posters side with them and allow them to become very influential on the site.

It looks like a groupy thing of the lazy work ethic crotch shot story. I believe the group is trying to send – deliver a message, like a virus, I got one via PM. Maybe they want the press “attention” to get them write nasty things about Kate and her family.

Sounds as bad as a conspiracy theory.

The thing is William and Kate (specially) have passed with flying colours their relationship. She has dodged the bullets brilliantly, she’ll survive.

I really really wish I could understand what drives all this negativity? If you hate Kate,why not go post happily about someone you like? It is so much more fulfilling the traveling forums,changing names and spreading venom about a stranger that at the end of the day no ones opinion really matters. Not yours or mine. Only the actual parties involved. If this is the woman William chooses for his wife, no amount of posts,prayer chains, tarot cards or rain dances will change it. If she is not the one,there is nothing any of us who support the pairing can do about that either. It is what it is. Opinions are opinions but in reality they are basically irrelevant to the outcome of most situations. Why waste time trying to rile others up and lessen the enjoyment some people find in following this couple? I truly don’t get it. Life is too short for such nonsense.

And … it is a laugh when people try to defend Kate’s non-existent work ethic. LOLOL. I wouldn’t be in Kate’s shoes for quids – it will be hard for her to move on. PS I don’t seek attention from people who are so ignorant as to not respect the opinions of others.
