Prince Andrew and ex-wife Fergie meet up for dinner date – Daily Mail
They’ve managed to maintain the most amicable royal separation of them all. It has been twelve years since they ended their marriage, but last night, the Royals’ gayest divorcees, Prince Andrew, 49 and the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, 49, stepped out for a friendly meal for two in London…
Creditors left out of pocket as Royal’s PR firm goes under – The Sun
Documents show Sophie has coughed up less than half the £12,677 paid to desperate creditors since winding up began in 2006. The decision means all its debts will be wiped and the firm, set up by Prince Edward’s wife Sophie in 1997, will no longer exist…
The “Other” Queen Victoria – The Times
Popular history has not been kind to Queen Victoria. The only royal utterance attributed to her is “We are not amused” and she is remembered mainly for being reclusive, obsessively traditional and rather dull. Real history, however, reminds us that she reigned for 60 years, over the most powerful, rich and vast empire in the history of the England monarchy. She did so with a firm hand and with the love and support of her people…

Sometimes I wonder if Andrew & Fergie will ever re-marry. Then I recall the toe sucking incident. I’m not sure.
July 4th, 2009 14:27
They should re-marry but that might happen in the future, right now they are very busy people and I don’t know if they have time to settle down and marry.
July 4th, 2009 17:21
I think the Duke and Duchess are quite happy with the status quo. They can get together all they like, but the Duchess doesn’t have to worry about meeting some royal standard of behavior (except insofar as she doesn’t want to cause difficulties for her daughters) or carrying out what must sometimes be very tedious royal engagements. Their relationship has been liberated from various problematic restraints, and I suspect they like it that way.

Some people are better as “ex” than as husband or wife.

Kate spotted in London in a (Bluebird) bar with a friend this week
July 5th, 2009 10:42
Lady Frederick Windsor will be her official title.
July 5th, 2009 11:12
Well I figure we have a good chance of seeing a photo of Kate at Freddie’s wedding in September because I know she and Freddie know each other based on photos of their warm greetings to one another at the launch of The Shop at Bluebird (owned by the Robinsons) a few years ago.
July 5th, 2009 11:21
Yeah I believe we will see the couple at the wedding. It’s good to know that the Windsors will be moving to LA after their wedding and I think the press got them mixed up with William & Kate. Frederick & Sophie may have been looking for a place in California and it wasn’t William & Kate.
It was also nice to hear Kate went out with a friend.

LOL!!!
So the mystery of PW in Malibu is solved.
JMO, I am not so sure we will see KM or even PW at the wedding. Remember, PW skipped his cousin Peter’s wedding (among others). KM probably wished she had missed P&A’s wedding, too.

sojourner, I’m not sure Kate will miss this wedding. If William can’t go, she will most likely attend. She is very good friends with Lord Windsor. I know it’s been said that the Queen won’t attend because the royal court will be based at Balmoral but we just have to wait and see on that.

Has anyone else noticed how the blonde girl sat next to him has had her face blacked out? It’s very bizarre!
July 5th, 2009 15:37
Thanks Britt, yeh, why black the girls face out?
So William was playing polo. Where was Kate?
July 5th, 2009 15:43
I don’t think Kate attended the polo match.
July 5th, 2009 16:09
Rman, thank you. Not like Kate to miss out a polo match, unless Kate attended the men’s Wimbledon final.
Also, I’ve just thought why the girls face maybe blacked out. It maybe one of the Spencer twins. I thought it disgraceful that the DM published those pics of Harry taking one of them to a nightclub. Although technically, I don’t think she should have been allowed in because she is under 18.
But if you recall the pics in the DM.

Sorry, the link above is to the article, it appears the DM have withdrawn some of the pics that night. The pics I’m referring to are the ones when Eliza Spencer was walking along just behind Harry with a bag up in front of her face.
Wonder if someone made a complaint to the PCC.

Kate likes tennis. So she could go to watch the Men’s Singles Final (Wimbledon) today. There’s a picture with Richard, Holly and Sam Branson and Sam’s gf Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe.
I also spotted a girl who looks like p.Beatrice (with an orange bracelet)
But I can be wrong.

Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall also watched the final today.(Daily Mail article wih their picture)

July 5th, 2009 17:28
Perhaps all the recent publicity and engagement speculation have driven PW and KM back underground.
They are a strange couple.
July 5th, 2009 22:00
Maybe they both stayed home and watched it together on TV… It was an amazing match. Federer is a great guy, but I was very sorry to watch Roddick loose
July 5th, 2009 23:22
yes i like those two guys playing its hard to imagine that roddrick loose
July 6th, 2009 08:40

Interesting article, interesting timing of this trip too..

July 6th, 2009 10:53
Thank Lisa for the new pics and interesting article !
July 6th, 2009 11:10
Interesting timing indeed! The trip would be right before he would start the Wales training that Katie Nichols was talking about, right?
Australia was my first choice for a honeymoon spot… but had to settle for Greece
July 6th, 2009 11:25
I really wish we knew how long this break was. It would shed alot of light on events of next year.
July 6th, 2009 11:32
That is very interesting, I can’t wait for more details on that. Next year we be a very interesting year.
July 6th, 2009 11:38
It will be interesting if there will be a wedding and a commonwealth tour.
July 6th, 2009 12:12
I think it all depends on the length of his break. If he was a month or two,I can see the possibility of both. If the break is a couple of weeks and he does the tour then no wedding, most likely.
July 6th, 2009 12:25
We just have to wait and see what the plans are. His break could be long and a wedding could happen and a tour but I believe there will be a wedding next year. There must be some planning going on at this time.
