Is this video Australian? It is basically a collection of old news, with a somewhat positive spin at the end. If you are going to make news out of nothing, at least try a little harder!
For example: I was just noticing the other day how many dark-haired princess there are around these days. Maybe an enterprising Fleet Street-er should investigate whether children’s books are beginning to reflect royal realities.

Here is another article which mentions possible William and Kate engagement. On the net there are mounting which looks like ad and Tiffany jewelry items which say that ther will be an engagement soon. So, it’s Tiffany and the Examiner who ar saying this.

Kat, thanks for the link. In that link the article says they got their info from the Daily Express, which claimed that W & K will announce their engagement on the day of Diana’s death.

I would think that there would be other articles coming out or is it wishful thinking? With Robin Nunn’s book to come out Sept. 1, 2009 who knows. One thing that I am confused about is Kates’s trip to Balmoral. Judy Wade from Hello said that that rumor were not true. Everybody else keeps printing about the Queen and Kate will meet. Any info?

I really dont’ think W &K would announce their engagement on the date of Diana’s death. That has to be a horrible day for PW. It will be interesting to see if KM shows up at Balmoral. And the release of the book – very exciting.

I would believe Hello! they have been very supportive of Kate, frequently featuring her on their covers.
I do not believe that there will be an engagement on Diana’s accident anniversary or the Balmoral Rumor. Hello! addressed this issue as well, the Princes would find this a morbid act, as they view the day as a day of mourning.

With regards to Kate meeting the Queen at Balmoral. Personally I believe they have met several times already. It is not uncommon for the Queen to have met several previous girlfriends of Charles, Andrew and Edward. So I do not understand the big deal about Kate meeting the Queen.
As to the Balmoral visit. There is no further info here, but I was led to believe from the press that Kate shall be spending at least a fortnight in Mustique with her family sometime in August.
I should also like to point out, that of all the previous girlfriends of Williams father and uncles, I only recall one occasion when the Queen was ever photographed with any of them, and that was Lady Jane Wellesley.
Lady Jane Wellesley, was the daughter of the then Duke of Wellington.
So even if Kate does go to Balmoral, I would be surprised if they were pictured together. If this does happen then you can guarantee it would be followed shortly with an announcement.

I personally think there is a more complicated story behind Albert’s bachelor status, and not necessarily one having to do with much talked about sexual orientation issue (though it may be part of the mix).

I am not a CD fan, but, in all fairness, reports about her father’s nefarious show up every once in a while. I was very upset about one I read about earlier this year, where he was described as a “financial backer” of Mugabe who engaged in high end poaching, endangered species trafficking and kidnapping of locals. It turns out it was several years old and the accuser was proven to be lying (in a South African court, if I remember correctly.)
So it could be more of the same. The family business leaves them open to these types of allegations. Given the seriousness of these allegations — their extremely high degree of criminality and depravity — I would be very careful about repeating them or taking them as fact. I am sure the Davy’s will try to answer these charges. Time will tell.
But it does seem like there is a undergroundpublic relations machine working against royal girlfriends, past and present!

I agree with that also. I was never a fan of CD, however her father is another issue and one I don’t care for. Anyone who has seen the images of Mugabe’s regime will understand as to why.

It seems to me that the DM has milked the story about Kate’s Uncle. That is losing steam. So the DM prints the story about Chelsy’s father. Could it be to discourage her and Harry from keeping a certain friendship? I haven’t a clue and just asking. Besides with Kate in Mustique and William off doing his SAR training. What is left to write aboat or should I say who?

Glad to see the DM appreciating Kate’s work in PP for once. But this is not news to us. “Experience Days” has been around since 2008… around the same time “The Cherrypicked Collection” was launched. I’m surprised they didn’t mentioned a more recent whole new section, “Celebrations”, which caters to adult parties. The Middletons have been busy expanding their business! I actually wonder if Kate or Pippa’s behind Celebrations…

If you go to PP’s website, you’d find there currently are 4 main sections:
1. Party Pieces (mostly for children 2-8 yrs old)
2. First Birthdays (Kate’s project, launched early 2008)
3. Cherrypicked Collection (children’s gifts/toys, launched fall 2008)
4. Celebrations (adult parties, launched 1-2 months ago?)
Virgin “Experience Days” are unique gift experiences which enable older kids to go surfing, karting, horse riding, etc. It’s affiliated with Virgin and is presumably due to Kate’s connection with the Bransons.
As you can see, there have been many changes/additions since Kate joined PP around January 2008. I don’t want to conclude that Kate is behind all these changes, but just by joining the dots, one can speculate that she’s been instrumental in many of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pippa has joined in as well.

I doubt that Kate or any of the PP staff would actually give the Experience tours. The Virgin staff are probably in charge of that. I think PP simply acts as another outlet for Virgin to reach more people, and the two companies probably partake of the profits from referred customers.

I think the responses of some people are the very reason why Hatey-Katie Nicholl wrote her silly article in the first place.
The Virgin ‘Experience Days’ have been on the PartyPieces website since at least April of last year, yet Katie Nicholl has written about them in this article as if PartyPieces just started the Experience Days in the last week or so.
And the Virgin ‘Experience Days’ are not actually tours. There are photoshoots as a glamour girl or a fairy, some sort of movie studio visit, a chance to drive a race car or to go deep sea diving, and a couple of other things that I can’t remember.
From what I read PartyPieces doesn’t actually have anything to do with the Experience Days themselves, they just sell the Experience Days on their website.
Virgin is the company that actually fulfills the Experience Days.
IMO Hatey-Katie Nicholl is simply up to her old tricks.

interesting that much was made of William being posted to Anglesey for a month & now it’s only 2 weeks. Hopefully the same two weeks that Kate is in Mustique so that they can have a nice reunion at Balmoral IF that is on the cards.
