  • jj #6 - August 5, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Is that usual for CH to make a response about who the princes are dating Hale? I thought their usual response was we don’t comment on the private lives of the princes or something like that..

  • maddie #7 - August 5, 2009 at 11:05 pm

jj, that is their normal response. I hardly think they would comment about Harry’s so called girlfriends or acquaintances.

  • M.L. Littlefield #8 - August 6, 2009 at 6:23 am

Harry is quite rugged and manly, and for some reason that is attracting these bleached and tanned girls whose appearances are reminiscent of a certain “Mansion” owner’s bunnies.

  • Britt #9 - August 6, 2009 at 8:50 am

Rugged…yes. Manly…no. Harry is a skinny little thing!

I want Prince Harry to find love, I just wish the girls he chose were not ladies with a oompa-loompa glow.

Does anyone know how Princess Beatrice will be celebrating her birthday?

Sorry Hale, Harry’s “recession break” from the bars was short. Did anyone recognize that blonde girl with Harry in the car?

  • Me #13 - August 6, 2009 at 2:51 pm

Poor Harry, always gets caught in these Celebrity Footballers and WAG parties.

  • Hale #14 - August 6, 2009 at 4:04 pm

Harry’s recession break wasn’t that short. When was the last time you saw him coming out of a club. It’s over a month ago, and that’s good going for Harry.

  • jj #15 - August 6, 2009 at 4:21 pm

Yes it looked a little bit like Astrid Harbord to me??

  • Hale #16 - August 6, 2009 at 4:31 pm

Astrid Harbord? Well if it is, no doubt Harry will invite her back too Clarence House to once again view the lovely interiors and discuss his fathers passion for architecture.

“Chelsy denies father is linked to rhino poaching”

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/southafrica/5989773/Chelsy-Davy-denies-father-is-linked-to-rhino-poaching.html

Mr Davy should be a real man and face his critics in person instead of pimping out his royal cast-off daughter! If he can’t answer the critics with a personal statement made by himself I will continue to believe there is a slight element of truth to these articles. Pimping out his daughter to the press isn’t going to make me roll over and forgive the slaughtering of his animals.

  • kat #22 - August 7, 2009 at 6:15 pm

The royal news is very slow. I will return to books though. The Robin Nunn book is still being said to be published Sept. 1. Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indep. Publishers Group etc all say Sept. 1. ProProfs Books says it is teaming up with Amazon to bring the book for sales. It actually has a countdown going. It is 25 days to the book’s release. Discount Books is putting the publishing date as Sept. 30 with delivery date Oct. 1. About the publicity Harry is getting, it might be remembered that he is still young. Since is is single and royal, he is playing the field. He appears to be taking things more seriously with his work as a royal. He is connecting with the people. That is good.

  • Me #23 - August 7, 2009 at 6:35 pm

OMG Britt. She has decided to talk. I wonder if her dad asked her to ?

  • Britt #24 - August 7, 2009 at 6:56 pm

If I was Mr Davy I would release a public statement and I would lay my business down openly to the press to prove my actions are innocent. I would go to the ends of the earth to protect my family’s name, honour and integrity.

In my eyes all Mr Davy is doing is hiding behind his daughter and not facing the critics like a bigger man would. It’s a shame his daughter had to act on behalf of him instead when HE should of been protecting HER – not vice versa.

  • bluefire #25 - August 7, 2009 at 9:10 pm

yeah i though of chelsy was asked by his dad to do that..

  • jojo #26 - August 7, 2009 at 10:10 pm

  • Guest #28 - August 8, 2009 at 5:48 am

Why would Kate have to take note of ANYTHING Chelsy Davy has to say? What is so “brilliant” about a few words in defense of your father and his murderous, poaching, pals?

Let’s talk about unsuitable to be near the throne??? Murderous dictators and killing animals v. drug addicted uncle. Six on one hand, half-a-dozen on another.

Leave my rich daddy alone. blah blah. lets see how long it is before she talks about Harry too.

  • Rman #32 - August 8, 2009 at 9:28 am

    Hello folks,

    Just reading the recent posts.

Interesting to see Chelsy speaking up for her father, I guess she can do that since she is no longer a royal girlfriend. Charlotte I agree with you, they would go nuts if Kate spoke.

Lisa I got my fingers crossed too. I would be glad once the announcement is made. I’m looking forward to the celebration book and this new book on the Queen Mother. It will be interesting to read what she thought about Diana. I just hope she didn’t say anything nasty about her. I’m also interested in what she thought of her daughter (Margaret) because she did live a colorful life.

  • Rman #33 - August 8, 2009 at 9:35 am

I don’t know what’s true about Chelsy’s father involvement in this case but I really don’t blame Chelsy for speaking up for her father, I would have done the samething for my parents. Again I guess she can speak up now.

LOL, maddie I don’t know if she would say anything about Harry.

  • Britt #34 - August 8, 2009 at 10:15 am

  • Vivi #37 - August 8, 2009 at 2:10 pm
  • P #38 - August 8, 2009 at 2:41 pm

    Two points:
First: “Every member of our family loves Africa, its people and its wildlife.” Shouldn’t she say our/ my country? These words make it souds like she was a British who live in Africa, not an African who live in Englad, what she really is. She says “its people and its wildlife” as she wasn’t one of them.
Second: Am I the only who thinks “hunting was “a very important” part of conservation” a little contradictory? Even when it is for ecoturism? Or should the criticism over the royal family and Kate turn praises because they helping the conservation? As Kate has said: “Interesting”…

  • P #39 - August 8, 2009 at 2:52 pm

Third: She wants to be a lawyer, wasn’t she? So it’s nothing else than part of her obligations to know how to do a good speech and to be convincing. And why does’t start to practise defending her own father? LOL

  • Lisa #44 - August 8, 2009 at 5:38 pm

Jj,I don’t put much into these articles. I link them so people can read them but I don’t really believe them. What is the “senior aide” or whatever he is going to say…oh yeah William and Kate are going to marry next year, we just aren’t ready to tell you yet..?

I have always thought there was a possibility that these two would put off marrying as long as possible to avoid the crap that comes along with it.

Having said that, they could announce it monday. No one knows.

  • Rman #45 - August 8, 2009 at 5:58 pm

Guys I do believe there will be a wedding next year and it’s very possible that Kate will accompany William on his Commonwealth tour. We just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that 2010 will bring us all joy and happiness.

Jobson just came up with that artical because the announcement haven’t come yet but it’s coming, just be patient. Jobson should be patient too. I can see that it’s driving him crazy.

  • Me #46 - August 8, 2009 at 6:53 pm

Well, there is Jacobson vs. Clive Goodman(I think that is his last name). Do we think that either of them really knows what is going on with William and Kate? It could be that both are right. That William and Kate will be married sooner than 2010 and she has undergone some sort of training. It could be that they are both guessing. I think that when the RF wants everyone to know what is going on, the RF will let everyone know. Until then, everything is speculation. I do believe that they will get married. I can’t see William who loves Kate with anybody else. I can’t see Kate who loves him dearly not being with him. Maybe, I just being a romantic. I certainly want them to be in love to get married. Everyone who is with them at a private occasion tells of how they act towards each other. That is to say they act like they should be married. Until we hear something definite, they need to follow their hearts. I will keep my fingers crossed for them both.

  • Rman #53 - August 8, 2009 at 10:27 pm

That’s a very interesting artical Kat. I don’t know how they would know that Kate is getting trained but I know this is true,

    1. Kate is already close to William’s media adviser, Miguel Head, and his private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.

    2. “This time around, there is the internet and an even greater level of scrutiny.”

    3. Both William’s mother, Princess Diana, and his aunt, Fergie, Duchess of York, complained of being cut adrift within days of their weddings and left to sink or swim by
    themselves.

    4. “It has the potential to be even more intense than it was for the Princess of Wales,” warned the aide.”

They may be getting her ready for her role. She’s gonna need all the help she can get. William is there to help her too, she will be fine.

    Hello everybody

Just found one article on the telegraph by mandrake about her allergy of horses. That’s more interesting and speaking thant we must think at first reading. And certaintely true. Mandrake gave the vet name and said he DID MET KATE (it’s not a courtier or someone well placed, etc and so on) it’s a real info and it’s an important decision and it’s done for something to come not just to be around the horses during polo matches. I’m glad she is able to do the maximum efforts. Diana did not want.

  • kat #63 - August 9, 2009 at 5:03 pm

I have been reading all of the posts. First of all, the sites are saying that William stated that he did not have time next year for a wedding. I have not read anywhere that he or his people have put out any press releases. Secondly, I agree with NYme. Why would Kate go to all of the trouble of looking into a medical solution to her horse allergy if things weren’t serious between her and William. Next, noone knows what William and Kate are planning. I figure that they will be able to get together later this month. Maybe, they will go to Balmoral. We’ll just have to see. I have not given up on these two. I happen to think that they show affection and love for each other in private or when they don’t think that the press is going to take their pictures. I will wait with fingers crossed at what statements come out of the RF.

    Hi n02va15,

Yes, sorry there haven’t been any updates for a few days. I had work commitments which left me without an internet connection so I was unable to update the site.

    Steven (BRW)

  • Rman #66 - August 9, 2009 at 6:03 pm

Kat I agree, we just have to wait and see what will happen. We can’t allow ourselves to get sucked into the tabloid gossip.

It’s nice to hear that Kate will get some medical help for her allergy. On her wedding day, she will be in a carriage pulled by horses, so I think that needs to be taken care of.

  • Lisa #67 - August 9, 2009 at 6:15 pm

All these articles are just kinda stupid if you ask me. I think it is fairly obvious that these papers are guessing, spinning stories to have something to print when there is nothing going on. What they really need to do is drop all the wedding talk. The couple is in a committed relationship, that is pretty clear. My general opinion on the matter has not changed, though. If they don’t marry next year and they remain together, I will have to believe they are purposefully putting off the wedding to avoid all the changes it will bring. Not much else makes sense to me. Either could easily walk away of they chose, yet they don’t. They remain “Brad and Angie” less the kids.

My gut tells me next year is it.

  • n02va15 #68 - August 9, 2009 at 7:02 pm

BRW, thanks for the update. Love your website. Just desperate for some news of Kate and William. Don’t know what to believe.

  • jj #69 - August 9, 2009 at 8:16 pm

    Lisa I hope so..

  • Lisa #70 - August 9, 2009 at 8:35 pm

jj,I don’t think Kate is simply “waiting” for William to propose. I think they know the plan and she is so far fine with it. It will be quite interesting to hear from the two of them directly as to why they waited as long as they did once the do make that announcement. I think alot of it has to do with Kate and the changes to her life that will occur once they do marry. I have also thought about the possibility that she feels some sense of duty to her family that she wants to fulfill before she must devote her life to the monarchy. It is easy to preceive their situation in a negative light until you realize that we only have the very smallest percentage of the facts to work with here.

  • kat #71 - August 9, 2009 at 8:58 pm

You know what we are all forgetting? The sight that William purchased for Kate’s birthday. There was a write up in I forget which newspaper On William’s birthday. It said that the sight for Kate was registered and was given I think it was called a warrant. These warrants are given only to those royals and other significant people in I think the government. So as of the 21st of June Kate was either I would think expected to become royal or was verimportant. The article suggested that this was a big step for Kate. I’ll have to look for the article. In other words, we have to keep hoping for the best for both of them.

    Nice find,kat!

  • dagsi #74 - August 9, 2009 at 9:34 pm

Let me chirp in about this weekend’s articles. Firstly, it’s another slow weekend without news to talk about. So I believe the stories don’t hold that much weight.

Regarding Jobson’s article that there won’t be a 2010 wedding… let’s face it, it could very well be true. I think we have been rendered a tad more hopeful in the past few weeks with Uncle Gary’s carelessness and William’s willingness to display a full-on snog with Kate. But after the excitement dies down, we’re back to the fact that (1) William’s still in the RAF, and (2) They’re still young. I’ll be more than thrilled to be proven wrong, of course. Still, I think people have to be open to the fact that 2010 may NOT be the year. For me, there’s nothing wrong with them waiting till they’re 30 to tie the knot. I want them to do it in their own time. We are the impatient ones!

About Goodman’s Princess training article… all I can say is I hope it’s true. People may see a fairytale, but the reality can be overwhelming and harsh. This is also why I don’t mind a delayed wedding. I’d like Kate to enjoy whatever life and privacy she has left at the moment before plunging into the inevitable.

  • Rman #75 - August 9, 2009 at 9:40 pm

Yes lets just hope for the best and pray that next year will be it.

    Good find Kat.

  • Rman #76 - August 9, 2009 at 10:06 pm

dagsi you may be right but I just hope it comes sooner.

I think this year Kate enjoyed the peace and it’s probably one of the reasons why she has kept a low profile. I just hope that next year is it, they will have a beautiful wedding, a relaxing honeymoon and whatever comes after that.

It would be nice to see them go on a Commonwealth tour together. Traveling to the Commonwealth is a beautiful thing and William should have his companion there with him so they can share that experience together. I know if it was me, I would want my woman by my side through it all.

After seven years together, Kate is pretty much use to this royal world and I think she is ready for it. She has shown such great strength despite the pressures from the press and she always manage to have an extra pep in her step when she’s in public. She has William and the royal team for support and she have her family to lean on so this girl will be fine. I just wish Diana had this kind of support team when she came on the royal scene.
