Palace gives Kate Middleton Princess Training

Kate MiddletonKate Middleton is set to be trained in royal protocol and media communications ahead of the expected announcement of her engagement to Prince William. The Daily Star reports

Kate, 27, will not join nWilliam on any official engagements yet. But she will be trained in Palace protocol, how to behave on the engagements and how to deal with the media. She will also learn how royal properties and finances are run and will be given access to the family’s Chequers Committee –  headed by the Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Charles – that controls royal estates.

She will also learn about royal patronage and how members of the family form official attachments to the armed forces.

Courtiers know that both Kate and William, 27, fear she will become a figure of obsessive public fascination once the engagement is announced. “It has the potential to be even more intense than it was for the Princess of Wales,” warned the aide. “But Kate is going to be the best-prepared royal bride ever.”

I do hope this is true and she will finally be able to show everybody what she is made of and there is more to her than just a pretty face. I think it’s time for her to shine and for us all to get to know the real Kate Middleton.

I just know William and his team will give her all the support she needs. Kate was just pictured with Jamie and Miguel so I know they are behind her.

That’s right, Rman. Funny… I was just browsing through pictures at Belga the other day featuring Kate at the polo game. The caption read that as Wills was playing, Kate was getting kisses from other men, namely Jamie and the Pony Master.

For once, I wish Clive Goodman is right.

i doubt this article is true. It is just trash as most articles, plus the other article says prince william is too busy, this site contradicts itself. PW has time for everything(motorcycling, partying, events, military, etc) except for KM.

There’s a lot of speculations out there but I have no doubt that Miguel Head and Jamie L. Pinkerton is behind Kate and will help her out. I doubt she will be going into boot camp, which Clive Goodman is making it sound like but the team will give her the information that she will need and just make sure things run smoothly.

Something must be up because I don’t recall seeing Kate pictured with Miguel Head until the charity polo event. I really did find that interesting but again, we must remain positive and patient.

Here is another William/Kate story. I especially liked the last sentence.

    http://tiny.cc/0I2px

The last sentence says it all and is so true.

Maybe BP learned a thing or two from past experience with Diana and Sarah (granted two very different women). I believe Kate has been in training for quite some time.

I think KM will make a great princess for PW. She has handled herself so extemely well in the media after all these years. For some reason I always think of the Queen Mother when I think of KM – very lovely stylish women but very quiet and graceful. I think in the end KM will be compared to the QM.

These articles seem to be repeating themselves over and over again. How many times have we read about Kate getting “princess training”? “Too busy to get married” blah blah blah…people get all excited about these articles and I don;t really think they add up to much of anything. Jobson knows nothing,IMO and I doubt that Mr Goodman has much of a clue either. When they are ready,William and Kate will gives us the scoop.

The Queen is a very intelligent woman and knows very well that Kate has a good job that she will soon have to leave behind because of her role as Princess. I see them as very compatible.

Will Kate teach Eugenie and Beatrice some of the finer points of Princess behaviour and help them improve their wardrobes? I do hope so.

She should go to the bookstore buy Steve Harveys “Act like A Lady, Think Like A Man”, and dump his ass….. If you are going out with someone for a long time and you are ready to get married and the other person is not, then run. She should get some you know what and lay the law. We all either witness or been in arelationship where the guy is like “girl you know I love, But why get married and ruin a good thing” or “Babe got to work on my career”and many more excusess. Look Im not saying he doesnt love her he probably does, but maybe he isnt the marrying kind and she should give herself the chance to find that person. Because at the end of the day what good does do to have all those trips to secluded areas and VIP at the clubs, when the man you love doesnt dream of you as his wife.

I look back to those pictures of the couple at the charity polo event in June and just that way William smiled and put his arms around her told me that this guy is in love with her. William will make that next move, just wait and see. They both looked happy on that day. That rustic nookie will do wonders for a relationship.

So now Princess Madeleine is engaged too. Another royal wedding next year in Sweden. And Prince William will not have to listen anymore to those who think he should marry her ;)

If anyone is interested, here is a film on royal investitures at Buckingham Palace. I know the official Monarchy site has a little video about investitures but I think this one is a bit more better. In the film Charles is filling in for the Queen and he speaks a bit on who important it is to award everyday people for their service to the nation.

It’s been so quiet lately – no sightings. Does anyone know if KM is back from the Islands? How long will the Queen be at Balmoral? Do you think the paps will be there hoping for a pic of KM & PW?

Kd I’m not even sure if she went to Mystique. There were no photographs at the airport & nothing since polo. I’m almost certain that the paps will be at Balmoral just incase she goes. I think it’s doubtful at this point but you never know.

Jj its far easier to get a pic in England. Its harder to get a pic in a busy airport, commercial flight, even harder if on a private jet.

And lastly, the Mustique Island itself is private, only venturing in the waters may a paparazzi take a pic.

    Morning,

It is very quiet and I think that is because William is away training. I think this is his last week at RAF Valley. If the couple do go to Balmoral, we may not know about it unless it is reported. I know last year the Duke and Duchess of York was pictured on their way to Balmoral so it’s possible that we could see them on their way to Balmoral but still unlikely.

We know they often visit some of the royal estates during the fall season so some pictures may come up soon. We still have the Windsor wedding coming up too so hopefully we will get some pictures of that.

Yeah the paps can get close to Balmoral. I think there are some restrictions but some paps often laugh in the face of restrictions.

Balmoral has 50,000 acres of land. If any member or guest of the BRF are near any roads close to or by the estate land, they may take pics.

tourist, I went to BP last Thursday. My advice to you is to pre book. We did the whole royal tour. That included the Royal Mews, the Queens Gallery and BP. It cost £29.50. If you wish to do the whole lot as we did, my advice is to allow yourself two days. It is very tiring.

Also, at all three places you are given a free audio guide. If you wish to queue on the day for tickets, which we did, it took 45 minutes.

Changing of the guard starts at 11am. To secure a good spot, go earlier. All in all, that takes 1 hour.

If you require more information, I’ll be only to happy to help.

With regards to Balmoral. If W & K do go, it should be remembered that W has his own place there. Tam Na Ghar. It was bequeathed to him by the late QM.

With regards to paps. I saw James Whittaker many years ago interviewed on TV. He used to work/still works for the Daily Mirror.

It was he who was the first to break the news about PC & Diana.

Whittaker said in the interview, that PC was a man of habits. He had a favourite fishing spot which he used to always take girlfriends to.

Also, I recall in a documentary, that the Queen had a sort of log cabin built for him for one of his birthday’s, close by that same fishing spot where he could shelter and lunch. I believe that was the cabin the press pictured during that time W & K were at Birkhall and it was said W treated K to a romantic dinner.
