I thought he was natural and good. Speeches like this are usually written by others so that wouldn’t be a surprise.
William is a very good representative of the royal family, no doubt about that. But I suppose some peoplel will always want to critize?

It takes years and years of actual public speaking to develop polish. It may take PW more time before he is very, very good at spekaing in public, writing speeches, and things along those lines.
He is just beginning. Now his good looks and polish will push him through, later his years of experience will pull him through.
I think the Prince is off to a good start!

I thought he did a good job. He even made an attempt at being humorous and he mentioned his mother. I liked that! He certainly seems to be more at ease with his role.
Good to see William’s speach skills improving.
do you think
? i was just thinking how stilted he sounds…. how old he acts for his age and how ill at ease he seems in public.
All those years and Eton…what was he doing?
The speech must have been written by someone else … or he has a real problem with speaking
