Prince William takes his Lady in Red on a Date
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been spotted out in public on a rare date together.
Kate, wearing a stunning figure-hugging dress, joked with photographers as she came out of the exclusive Locanda-Ottoemezzo Italian restaurant in Kensington, London, with Wills. As they left the posh eaterie on Friday night – where dinner for two costs £200 – William laughed at Kate’s attempts to shield her eyes from flashbulbs.
‘They both seemed in a really good mood and looked like they were having a great night out” said one observer.
The couple later partied at Kitts nightclub until the early hours.
“They don’t enjoy the long breaks but they make the most of all the time they get together” said one friend. (via Daily Star)

kate looks great and i love red dress
September 20th, 2009 10:41
Kate looks good, William is one lucky guy.
This whole Fergie thing is really getting on my nerves because all she wanted to do is to highlight childrens problems. It seems like the Turkish governement didn’t want this harsh treatment to these children exposed.
All the family Sarah have now is her two children and a sister, I think it would be wonderful for the royal family to support her.
September 20th, 2009 10:55
Rman,
I agree. Sarah had her heart in the right place. I am sorry she wasn’t ablt to go to Balmoral with her children.
I don’t believe the Kate and William wedding story either. I don’t believe there will be any links regarding that situation, if PW knows anything, he knows how to keep his mouth shut! When PW wants the public to know his plans then he will go through the proper channels.
September 20th, 2009 11:01
Exactly Clover, we just have to wait for the couple to give us the 411 on their wedding plans.
September 20th, 2009 11:25
I still dont really care for kate and i think that she is a COMPLETE attention grabber..
September 20th, 2009 11:54
Rman,
Is 411 the same as 911? LOL!
September 20th, 2009 12:31
LOL, the 411 is an urban term for “information”. So that’s why I said they will give us the ‘411′ when they are ready to release it.
These crazy speculations is what confuses people.
September 20th, 2009 12:54
Rman,
LOL!thanks for the definition. I was off just a tad! The speculations are confusing and crazy!
September 20th, 2009 13:06
They are confusing and crazy Clover. Right now I wouldn’t be surprised if the tabs came up with the idea that the wedding can’t take place until Charles ascends the throne.
The press have to learn how to be patient because when they show their impatients, everyone else gets impatient.
September 20th, 2009 16:44
Same old stuff!
September 20th, 2009 17:21
I wonder why she’s hiding her face.
September 20th, 2009 18:52
Rman,
LOL! The day when I read the papers and they say that PW and KM can’t get married until Charles is King, I’ll know that they read your post on BRW! I am surprised we haven’t heard that one already.
We just have to accept the fact that PW is a very private person and his friends are very loyal, not the type to leak anything. We have to wait!
September 20th, 2009 20:46
i think people just need to be patient. whether they like it or not i have no doubt in the world that kate and william will get married. it will happen. and i also don’t understand why people keep saying she is not fit to be queen, when she hasn’t even had the chance to show how much she can do. at this point, all we need to know whether or not she is fit to be william’s lady is that she is classy, is patient, and not out of line. and she is all of the above, so why is anyone complaining?
September 20th, 2009 21:22
^ It’s called having an opinion independent from the rest of the sheep. That is why a “discussion forum” exists, no? And, MY opinion is that Kate is far from ‘classy’ – amongst other things which make her entirely unsuitable to be William’s consort.
If you believe that Kate will suddenly grow a work ethic when she gets a ring and tiara, good for you – you might do well for a defendant on a jury. But others don’t necessarily have that kind of faith.
One of Kate’s “supporters” elsewhere actually said that the photo looks photo-shopped. I agree because I’ve seen that exact photo of William in that retro velvet jacket before.

Willliam is known to wear his clothes more than once. A lot more

I think people have to understand that many of the new European Princesses had very ordinary lives before they married their Princes. They had interesting jobs, but they was doing nothing compared to what they are doing now.
The big misunderstading here is that many people expect Kate to be this superwoman now so they can see that she will have what it takes to be a future Queen. That’s not reality. Currently she is living her own life and working quietly at Party Pieces. When the time comes for her to take up an official role as William’s princess, she will do her duties and show her special qualties.
She just need the chance to show the people what she can do and she need to make some kind of connection with the media and members of the public. For many years now, the public has been feed countless tabloid stories about her but they still haven’t had a chance to experience Kate for themselves.
Clover you are right, William is very private and he pretty much keeps Kate to himself. I can’t wait for the day when he decides to share her with us a bit.
Frank, people have to learn to be patient.
“Good things come to those who wait”
September 21st, 2009 03:06
if I was princess beatrice or princess eugene I wouldnt take any invitations from the queen and prince philip if they excluded my mother. If no one wants my mom, then no one wants me, period. I just cant believe how these princesses let the queen and prince philip reject their mother. Yes, she made mistakes, but we all make mistakes, no one is perfect and we all have the right to change. It is clear that sarah has changed and I still dont understand why they dont give her a second chance. Are those guys perfect? Who are they to judge Sarah when we all know that many other members of the royal family have been involved in such scandals. I believe that all of this is due to they (the royals) thinking that they are better than other people. This is one reasons why I hate all that upper, aristocratic class. They think they are better than others and judge other people as though they were perfect. Ridicoulus seriously.

Colour of Kate’s dress is in fashion – also among crown princesses

Sorry objective but it is William’s decision as to who is a good choice to be HIS consort and his wife. Kate is fine. She will be coached and she will do fine. People just need to get over it. It’s his life.
September 21st, 2009 06:29
Frank, I totally agree with you.
If Kate was the CEO of a Fortune 500, I’m not so sure that would make her RF material. Like you said, a woman in her position needs to be patient and not make a wrong move. And regardless of what one thinks of that, it’s the reality of the situation. If Kate is happy with William and she’s okay with taking on what may appear to be a supportive or passive role at the moment, oh well! It’s her decision to make and her life to live. If she’s happy with the man she clearly loves, why are some people determined to say “no she isn’t” or “she can’t be”? Lol.
Happy people live and let live…
And Meg, I too have seen that jacket a few times. Should we assume that every photo of Prince Charles in that old faithful beige coat has been photo-shopped too?
Lol!!!

^ Also tacky and tasteless, IMO. Is he mad?
September 21st, 2009 13:16
Objective, if your post #15 was a reply to Frank’s post #14, what you may want to consider is that, I think Frank said he is from Berkshire, and people from the same region as KM are probably much less likely to be objective due to the local excitement generated.
September 21st, 2009 21:45
i think people say things based on what they know
Unfortunately for kate everything that has come out has made it ugly
and i have to say that William is super mucho to blame for that
he needs to step up or out
if he dithers like this for her and then doesnt marry her
good bye monarchy
oh and I would take a CEO of a fortune 500 company over a Kate any day…
they probably made something of themselves and didn’t wait to be married…
not hatin
just sayin

Funny to see that at british royal wedding there are (almost) only Kate ‘lovers’ (like myself) and at the Dailymail there are a lot of Kate haters. That I don’t understand. Why are you English people so hateful towards her? She is gorgeous, classy and an example to a lot of us. She is no Paris Hilton who flashes her ***, makes (homemade) porn videos, lookes like a human barbie doll and who is as stupid as the bottom of a pig. She stands by her man and the most of the people see that as ‘desperate’. Pitty that most people think that standing by your man is desperate.
ps are there more pictures of kate wearing that red dress?
oh and sorry for my language ; am from Holland.
September 22nd, 2009 11:42
The subject is about Prince William takes Kate Middleton for a dinner date. Whoever rolls over for a nice dinner date with a boyfriend and criticises it is plain jealous.
Try this for fun: Roll over a dinner date and criticise a friend of yours for doing so during their own free time, want to see the reaction of the couple. LMAO.
Have shown this article with it’s subsequent posts in different royal sites to my hubby, he can’t believe women would go mad for PW. All sort of excuses and you can see the seams of the green word.
September 22nd, 2009 11:49
And please do not bring the recession issue, people need to go out even if it’s for a hotdog.
Tell all the rich people to spend their money so economy may circulate.
September 22nd, 2009 14:07
Lisette, all the Kate Haters from other forums spam newspapers with their close-minded nonsense.
Everyone in the royal forum/blogging sphere is aware of this new phenomenon. It’s all a part of their ‘Lets-Destroy-Kate’ propaganda train – they have set up Facebook groups, Twitter accounts, Youtube sites, countless blogs etc. just to spread their horrible messages.
If you read The Sun, NOTW, DM very carefully you’ll notice all the nasty comments about Kate are coming from the same commentators. They don’t even try to hide it anymore.
September 22nd, 2009 15:47
I agree, Britt. You’ll find that the people behind the Kate-destroying propaganda are far more passionate in their mission than those who actually wish her well. (And I’m not talking about the respectable lot who simply dislike her… I’m talking about the select group that lives to destroy her). I have, after a while, found them rather amusing. I personally don’t see how anyone can devote so much time and energy in hating someone you hardly even know.
As for the press, everything’s a cycle. They built Kate up a few years back as perfect princess material. Now it’s her time to fall. It happened with Diana. It happened with Fergie. Reading Fergie’s autobiography, she was very keen to point out that in order to sell papers, the press needs (1) someone to admire, and (2) a scapegoat. For Fergie, she was the monarchy’s vibrant saviour when they bashed Diana’s instability/bulimia. After 2-3 years, Diana was the survivor and she was the brash, unregal Duchess of Pork. Her mistake was that she allowed herself to believe the hype and suffer the downfall.
September 22nd, 2009 17:28
i dont know
i think that there is a huge bias at the dail mail for posters that have negative things to say about people they are talking about – controversy sells papers…
whether it is only a small group of people or not remains to be seen
i do think there are less people on the sites that are pro kate than there are those that would question her suitability
September 22nd, 2009 17:31
my question though is what is kate destroying propaganda?
any thing that isnt’ a glowing report?
People have the right to the their opinion as long as itsn’t hate like anti semitism or the like
I mean what did someone say about Kate being out
recession isn’t hate
September 22nd, 2009 18:13
Really it is, they have no problem but cute remarks when others go out for a party, dinner…
September 22nd, 2009 18:22
oh you want logic : )
no sense in logic!
sometimes a few things bother us about something and then it is hard to see
anything nice about the person…
even a dinner out with boyfriend isn’t great
I think that her dress was demure, i quite liked it, she looks incredibly thin though
and i wondered about the hiding of her face..
why she does it sometimes and not others…
September 23rd, 2009 02:15
Well, first of all, thank you Britt and Dagsi. I was unaware of that whole ‘lets-destroy-Kate’ situation, because there are a lot of comments on her of different persons (I thought). Now I have even more respect for her! She is a very strong woman, you must be standing very strong in your shoes (dutch expression don’t now if you use the same) to stand all this. I couldn’t. She is damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.
September 23rd, 2009 02:30
And are there more pictures of her wearing that red dress?
September 23rd, 2009 10:06
I think she’s hiding her face because of the makeup she is wearing. Never seen a picture of her with green eye shadow and red lipstick. She looks a little tarty. Perhaps the red dress is part of a costume?
September 23rd, 2009 11:37
Women wear eyeshadow and lipstick everyday, but because it’s Kate Middleton, then she looks ‘tarty’?
Please spare us the nasty comments crap, thank you very much. Obviously the woman just looks made up, like many other women with makeup. If she had red blotches of blush on either side of her face, and 2 or 3 different colours of eyeshadow with some extremely heavy foundation that made her face look a totally different colour than her neck, then the ‘tarty’ comment would make sense.
But as Kate isn’t wearing all that junk, and she has on normal sort of makeup – eyeshadow, liner, mascara, lipstick – the ‘tarty’ comment just sounds mean and uncalled for.
September 23rd, 2009 12:03
Her makeup is usually understated and attractive. The makeup she is wearing in this picture is overdone and makes her look tarty.
And you need to get a life.
September 23rd, 2009 12:31
Each to its own. I don’t see anything tarty about her looks in this particular outing.
September 23rd, 2009 14:14
You need to get a life first, Phoebe, then you can tell me to get one.
September 23rd, 2009 17:51
Hahahaha, I’ve never seen you be tough like this ML. I like that. You go girl.
September 24th, 2009 18:26
oooooooo ml
why do you engage people in childish argument and than decry that others are just so ridiculous to expect a marriage for kate and william or to split
it seems to me you are the mapleleaf calling the leaf red
so to speak
