Princess Eugenie starts University

Princess Eugenie first day at UniversityWith one hand on her notebook and the other clutching a girlfriend for support, Princess Eugenie made her first foray into student life at Newcastle University yesterday.

Servants made the five hour, 290-mile journey from Royal Lodge at Windsor, in a people carrier and a car laden with suitcases, boxes and yellow bags from Selfridges.

Arriving on campus they unloaded her gear into the £96-a-week accommodation where Eugenie, sixth in line to the throne, will be living. Although she has her own en-suite bedroom – with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk – Prince Andrew’s younger daughter will be sharing a kitchen and lounge with five other undergraduates.

The princess will spend the next three years studying for a BA Hons Combined Studies degree in English, History of Art and Politics. (via Daily Mail)
