Katie Nicholl reports that Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are planning a holiday in South Africa after Christmas…
‘Harry will have a break from the Army over Christmas and is planning a trip with Chelsy,’ said a chum. ‘He doesn’t have to be back at work until January 4 and is desperate to go on a romantic break. He’s convinced some time away in the sun is what their relationship needs.’
‘He loves Botswana but they haven’t decided where they are going yet. Chelsy will definitely go home to Cape Town for Christmas.’
The pair have been enjoying secret dates at Clarence House since getting back together.

Shouldn’t they be trying to make their relationship work in, oh I don’t know, England? Surely they would have learnt from their last breakup that ‘vacationships’ are not sustainable.
Both couples, W&K and H&C, don’t have a joint ordinary everyday life, I think thats the problem.
When they broke up, there was a lot of talk about Chelsy having changed her status on Facebook. Has there been an updated story on this issue?

Curious, that’s a very interesting point you just made. I have always thought the samething but never post the thought. If I’m understanding you correctly.
At some point these people separate lifestyles will get old and they will have to think about having a joint everyday living. It’s beautiful to be able to share your extraordinary life with your significant other but in W&K and H&C case, there’s a big limit on what they can do togther. It can cause problems.
Chelsy might have learned her lesson regarding changing her relationship indicator on facebook, especially if she is trying to keep their relationship out of the press.
I hate how every time H&C go throw a rough time in their relationship they HAVE to go on a vacation somewhere to make it work THEY NEED TO GROW UP they cant go to a vacation every time to resolve what ever problem their having in their relationship but then again that’s just me .
I’ll believe the holiday story when I have seen the pics. As yet I have not seen any pics of them taken together since the announcement of their split.
Good point, Hale. We haven’t seen a single pic of the two of them since the tabloids started reporting on them getting back together.
We haven’t although Duncan Larcombe did comment on the fact that Chelsy had been seen entering and exiting Clarence House. I tend to put more stock in Duncan Larcome’s articles as it seems as if he has a hot line to PW & PH’s press team and that he is given exclusives over other tabloid reporters.
I still think that Chelsy and Harry are good together but ultimately they may not work because of the Royal Family. I just don’t think it is a good fit for Chelsy. I just don’t see her being a toe the royal line type and that is what it may come down to, whether or not she is willing to toe the royal line and ribbon cut for the rest of her life in order to have the man she loves….
At the time of their split, I kind of wondered if they did it to get the press to leave her alone, and that they didn’t really split. I also thought the same thing about PW and Kate during their split.
jj…That is a very good point. Thank you for reminding me. I do agree with you that Duncan Larcombe is given exclusives.
But why would they be motivated to share THIS particular exclusive? Assuming they are back together and they’ve managed not to be photographed, why would they share the news with ANYONE from the press? Who stands to gain from this news being leaked? Something doesn’t add up.

That is a very good question. The only thing I can think of is that if they are serious they will eventually need to be branded as a couple so it is sewing the seeds so to speak. It also portrays the relationship as serious and not the hard partying relationship which it was viewed as being last year. This to me seems to be following in the footsteps of Williams and Kate’s relationship. Keep your heads down enjoy each others company at non public places unless it is polo or a charity event. It appears to have worked wonders for William and Kate maybe the same thing will work for Harry and Chelsy?

jj, I guess time will tell. If they’re really back on, eventually we will see a photograph. And I believe it will be sooner rather than later because with these stories circulating, the press will be determined to get one.

Wow, he has at least a three month vacation until he goes back to ‘work’. I can’t believe people have the nerve to assert that he, or William, ‘work hard’.
And if he really is compassionate and has a caring heart, he has plenty of time now to do charity work, especially during the holiday season. What will he do!?!

At least Chelsy looks better than she did post their breakup. She looks a more normal weight again.
His X-mas holiday doesn’t start now!! It ends on Jan 4th and probably starts a couple of weeks earlier.
