It always bothers me reading stories like this – but the orphanage is right – she isn’t an orphan, they don’t really have the right to take her away from her grandmother just because the woman is poor. I just hope maybe one of Harry’s celebrity set will read the story and step in and do something, now that the Daily Mail has brought attention to it again.

When I showed the article with the pictures to my husband and told him Tara was a fiend of Prince Charles his response was “I’m sure she is”‘! LOL

I’m curious as to the “legal” basis for not reporting the identity of people present. Is it because it is a private party? If Vogue.com signed something agreeing not to report the presence of certain individuals in return for access to the party, would that count as a “legal” reason?

Hello,
Are these recent news reports accidentally connected , well , connected as far as SandR, PW,KM JC are concerned?
Whatever is said or implied there has always been a connection between PW and JC and it seems to occur whenever immportant phases or events happen in his life and there have been more than a few instances when PW has put this connection way above other considerations, even important family occasions. It was even reported that he discussed his relationships with the two most important ladies in his life, his mother and KM , with JC and his American acquaintance Tamara Rosenburg which so distressed KM back in 2007.
The news of the SandR dispersal is not new and has been expected since the MOD’s announcement that they could not afford to replace the old rescue helicopters despite there being a watertight contract to purchase them by 2015. This news may well account for PW’s observed whereabouts over the past 10-12 weeks but the JC news is yet another jigsaw piece especially when one considers the old news that KM was the ‘excuse’ to keep the hounds at bay.
If this news means that PW’s service in the RAF is put in doubt then its barrier to an engagement announcement will be cleared but what could the next ‘barrier ‘ be? PW’s position and commitment as the President of the FA has recently been queried and the announcement that he will play a full part, together with a certain DB ,in obtaining the Soccer World Cup for 2018 for England will certainly take up yet more of his time.
That together with his reported tour to Aus/NZ early in 2010 , his attendance at the World Cup tournament in May/June 2010 and world wide
visits to obtain goodwill and votes for the English FA bid will certainly put pressure on his time. That and the news that he PH and PC will take on the majority of HM’s commitments over the next few years .
Of interest is a little unconfirmed tit bit that PW has, over the past several weeks, been taking lessons with Amy instructors at a London venue. Perhaps as an introduction to his taking part in the Trouping of the Colour and riding with PC and other Royal Dukes in June instead of viewing from the Foreign Office windows. (Wonder what happened to his reported ‘internship’ at the FO announced a couple of years ago?)
Where this leaves KM over the next 12-15 months is unclear but I certainly agree with a comment by Lisa earlier that his and KM’s present living arrangements are not very far apart and may well be very close to a secluded residential area just north of the Kings Road in Chelsea. By the way it is almost certain that PW and a friend were at a certain stadium in Birmingham over this weekend.
So, are we now very much back in the air (?) , does JC broken engagement ‘mean’ anything , will PW’s position with SandR be compromisedand when will the next definite sighting of PW with KM be? All this and a flash back to a comment by the Station Commander at Shawbury when PW joined them. A Group Captain David Prowse said that commitment to SandR service was ” a way of life and officers and men must be fully commited to it”
Does all this raise any doubt about the long term PW/KM relationship which seemed happy enough a few weeks ago, or upon his strange decision to commit to ‘a way of life’ in Septemebr 2008?
Yet again the big “Why,What and When” raises an ugly head with the possible questioning of some strange decision making on love,life, career and even expectations?
I have said before lots can and I am sure will happen before we see clear skies and calmer waters ahead and finally please note that the Ski slopes in Eastern Switzerland are open.

Though not necessarily comfortable, an upheaval in one’s plans can sometimes force the person to sort out his or her life matters in such a way as they wouldn’t have otherwise done.
If there is a major change in PW’s plans, here’s hoping an opportunity for clarity arises . . .

Ked it’s always good to hear from you.
It’s no news to us that William & Jecca are very good friends and have been for a long time. I’m sure at this time he and Kate has offered her some some comfort during this difficult time. As any good friends would do, they are probably hoping that Jecca & Hugh figure out their problems and move on.
We know that William & Kate are doing very well and if any plans with the RAF training change, most likely William & Kate will change along with it. Kate is his lady love and I’m sure he discusses the plans with her. William do seem to be committed to his military training but that does not mean he can’t continue his committment with Kate. They are in this together and we can clearly see that.
Ked it would be great to see William ride in the Trooping of the Colour parade but I always thought that would happen once Charles came to the throne. The royals that ride behind the Queen are the four Royal Colonels the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duke of Kent and the Princess Royal. Of course Philips now rides with the Queen in the carriage. Maybe he will take part, I don’t know.
We have to wait and see what next year will bring for these two but I’m glad that everything is running smoothly now.

I have to say that Ked I had a fear about Jecca’s engagement being off. A fear that this will create trouble for Wills decision making process. He and Jecca were so close and now she is calling off her engagement? So can he too back out for the love of his life? If that is Jecca?
I do not want to say that she and wills are together> Becaus i atually don’t think they are.
But because Will’s life is in constant upheavel ( well so i think !) I dont’ think this is good
If Hugh can convince Jecca to marry then i think this has nothing to do with Wills nor will it influence Wills, if he doesn’t well then Ithink Jecca and Will have something in common, indecision

really? Jecca & William are very good friends but that’s it. I know some people are going crazy that Jecca called off her engagement but in reality that has nothig to do with William. William is in a loving relationship with Kate and it’s been that way for a longtime now. Kate is also good friends with Jecca and probably offering her some comfort at this time and hope that she work things out with Hugh. I know some people think Jecca is some kind of threat to Kate but that’s not true and I think it’s time for people to move on from the William & Jecca thing because it was only rumored that they was in a relationship, it was never founded as a fact.

Well as Mandrake said that Jecca & Hugh couldn’t come to an full understanding over their living arrangements. That’s the cause of the engagement being called off. Jecca wants to live permanently in Africa and Hugh don’t. They should have sorted that all out before they decided to get married.

I wish more was known. People don’t call off engagements lightly without deep thought.
This was not a postponment but a calling off of a marriage. There is no other way to say it.
Once engagements are broken do they ever mend to make it to a wedding at this level in the public eye? I haven’t seen many engagements once broken, revived.

really. SandR is ’search and rescue’.
I am sure that PW and JC did have slightly more than a fling and shortly after his first few dates with KM at Aberdeen he did go out with JC and even denied, at that time,having a girl friend at University. That however was very early on with in the relationship with KM which initially was one of friendship only, that apparently developed as she helped him with the decision to stay or leave.
His service with the RAF is however slightly more complicated I believe and I have this feeling that PW had been aware of the change in circumstance for two or three months or so. This change may well account for the apparent regularity that placed him in and around London during this period and the increase in intensity of his constitutional and charitable appearances.
With these appearances in mind surely this would be the most opportune time to really introduce KM especially into his charities. If she is to become part of his life the sooner she joins him and let her show his future subjects that she is a worthy partner. If he is shielding her from the public eye then it is time to bring her forward. If however he is doing a PC and he or his advisors are frightened that KM will become a bigger personality then the relationship may be in trouble either now or later.
He must show her and the Country that he trusts her and is prepared to have her beside hime as he prepares for his time to accept his birthright.

I really think that PW and Jecca are just very good friends.
PW hase shown a pattern of keeping friends once they prove that they are trustworthy and will not speak to the press. I think this is the case with Jecca, she has been loyal and does not speak to the press, two qualities he values.
I don’t think that there is a good story here, although the media may sniff around it.
IMO, there is no smoke or fire here.

If BP or CH hopes not to have another media frenzy on their hands once William gets engaged/married, they are mistaken. It is inevitable. The best they can do is come to terms with it and recognize it for the asset it can be for the monarchy. Hopefully they learned that particular lesson.

The idea of bringing her to the forefront before they are engaged is a tricky one, IMO. It would cause a whole new wave of “he won’t commit,” “she’s waiting/hanging on” commentary. In addition, William and the RF could be criticized for giving her a “test run” and that wouldn’t be good for ANY of the individuals involved. Finally, giving her a more public role without the full backing and protection of the royal machine isn’t an ideal situation for her.
I think it’s time to make it official and I don’t see why William would have to finish his military commitments before they marry. If she lives with him as an officer’s wife, and they both do a limited number of royal engagements, it might be an ideal start to a very structured and demanding royal routine.

Really ?, I agree that William is concerned about the media frenzy, and with good reason, but I believe the rest of the royals are too. Diana eclipsed them and they fear that happening again…especially Charles, IMO. But it WILL happen.
