Prince Harry’s 20k booze cruise – Monsters & Critics
Britain’s Prince Harry has splashed out £20,000 on a booze cruise in Africa. The 25-year-old royal and a host of his pals – including TV presenter Natalie Pinkham – all jumped aboard a houseboat, which was full of crates of beer…
Cuts Bring Wills Back to Earth – Daily Express
Prince William’s ambition to fly RAF Search and Rescue helicopters is likely to be shot down – not by enemy action but by privatisation. A senior officer said: “I regret to say that it appears that Prince William will be among the first victims of the defence cuts.”

Good Evening,
This is the first time I have ever seen Camilla dancing and may I say that she is rather good at it. Her timing was good too.

How fun! Good for her . . .

Daily Mail had up an article on Sunday that said that Chelsy wasn’t going on the trip to Africa because she had to stay home and study. It went on to say that the locals had complained when Harry rented the boat last because all the noise had scared off the wildlife and because they were all rude. But I don’t see the article up anymore, so maybe some/all of it wasn’t true.

AJ, given that the boat was sailing through the remote areas of Africa, I wonder how anyone would know if it had scared of the wildlife.
Methinks, this is more sour grapes from the DM. They’ve once again be caught off guard and got there facts wrong as to when Harry was going away on his hols. Just like the time KN posted that W & K were going to holiday in Switzerland when the truth was they had already been skiing in France and there holiday practically over before the DM realised.
In other words that’s twice KN and the DM have been seen publicly with egg on their face.

Well fishing and hunting (check out via documented in NATGEO or DISCOVERY CHANNEL) you and surroundings have to be QUIET – hush hush.
Don’t think with this motor powered boat things where hush hush. Paparazzi’s in the bush.

Hi Guys,
Here is a video of Harry & Chelsy out on the town a couple of weeks a ago.

I don’t know why the paps have to get so silly.
Thanks to Kinga77

Harry, Harry, Harry; there was absolutely NO need to swear. A mature manner whilst dealing with the paparazzi is the appropriate method for standing your ground.
October 21st, 2009 17:56
Although the paps was getting a bit out of hand, Harry has to watch his mouth. That mouth of his is what often gets him into a lot of trouble.
October 21st, 2009 18:06
he does but i get it
i feel really badly for him
i think he is a reactor when it comes to situationat like this
and if he has been drinking then i would think he would be even more upset by a situation
i can’t help but think he thinks of his mother everytime this happens
there is something extremly sensitive about him
October 21st, 2009 19:48
I agree that he must think of Diana at times like this, but this is NOT the way a “mature” royal prince should act, regardless of the temptation. It reminded me of the time Chelsy and her g/f’s were photographed in a taxi and one of them gave them the middle finger. Very classy… IMO, Harry needs someone to help him with his temper, and not encourage it.

katherine
i think he needs help too
i hope both boys get the councelling they need
October 21st, 2009 22:14
Well I really don’t think it’s all that bad, I do think he could have used some other language but this kind of thing happens all the time to very well known people. Sometimes you try your best to deal with the paps in a very civil way but they can make one bad move and you can easily get ticked off.
I think Harry was trying his best to protect Chelsy, you can tell in those pictures that she wasn’t in the best mood so I think he was just looking out for her. I think one of his security guards yelled at him and that made him get in the car. Harry is a fun guy but he will meet you in the streets so I wouldn’t test him.
October 22nd, 2009 04:56
Harry’s getting way too old now for people to still be making excuses about his dead mother regarding his ridiculous behaviour.
The paparazzi did NOT kill his mother. It was instead a variety of other factors – no seatbelt and a speeding driver.
October 22nd, 2009 07:20
Well fishing and hunting
Paparazzi’s in the bush.
Well Me, its a wonder the paps were not the first kill of the day.
Harry and his foot in mouth disease.
Has anyone heard from dear alsgal?

Lizzie, while I agree that the paps did not kill Diana, I do feel they share in the responsibility by creating an atmosphere in which the other events that did lead to her death unfolded. JMO.
October 22nd, 2009 11:18
True Rman, but not many people travel with PPO’s. Isn’t it their role to organize an exit and deal with the paps to the best of their ability? Harry shouldn’t sink to this level, as tempting as it may be. That’s exactly what the paps want and it’s unfortunate that he delivers.
October 22nd, 2009 11:21
Lisa, I totally agree regarding Diana’s death. They didn’t kill her directly, but the paps played a MAJOR role.
October 22nd, 2009 11:43
I agree w/Lisa also about Diana. The paps created the atmosphere.
October 22nd, 2009 11:48
without the paparazzi there would not have been an accident — point blank
The worst was taking the photographs of a woman dieing for money — just sick
all sorts of factors yes — but the papparzzi were escpially disgusting
i think it was not long ago a weeping kate was seen to be in distress and this was ok .. her weeping in or upset in public but it isn’t ok for harry? a bit double standard i think
when you are 12 or or an early teen you may not be able to differentiate the different things plus given what they say to him usually i am sure it is letting off steam. I think that illogic of a teen unable to deal with the circumstances with grown up critical thoughg processes is very difficult to go through – this is his journey and it is a rough one for sure
Do i think it is right no
why do i forgive him for it and understand it?
Because in his way he does help people actually the most poorest and deprived in Africa
I just think that if he is willing to honour his mother in a way like that he has a right to act out his youthful upsetness
it ain’t right
but if you do nothing and then do this well i would have very little sympathy for him
or if he did what william did which was to drive around the corner and come back then yes i think that is wrong
i just think Harry has a lot of pent up anger and how his life is full of betryal like paul burrell, and maybe even his own family who put him out to the wolves> if they did i dont’ know but i would think that is par for the course for the firm
everyone out for themselves
October 22nd, 2009 15:37
They should drop the frequent going to pap land. But perhaps not, Chelsy apparently still likes to party in Bungalow 8, Chinawhite and those sort of paparazzi places. Harry dodged them pretty well when he was with the Nats.
I think Kate doesn’t ‘frequent’ that kind of spots – 1 or 2 times a year as of 2008/2009! Gilmore’s, pubs and factor age maturing. William seem to follow, although once in a while makes the tour with Pelly and co.
October 22nd, 2009 17:19
true enough about chelsy at clubs!
but she is in school it is sort of the norm
October 22nd, 2009 17:57
Hello,
I’m told that PW is not at Valley Air Base in North Wales and is in London but not at a Royal residence.
Where, who with and why is not entirely clear but I believe that there are no hidden mysteries or impending shocks in this particular item of news but there may well be a slight fall out with close family members and his choice of attendance at “family or friends” may be indicative.
I did read one post a week or so ago which indicated that uncles PA,PE and aunty PA had no influence within the RF. Perhaps that is true of the uncles but do not underestimate the influence that the P.Royal has within the family. She is very much her father’s daughter and I believe that one crosses her at one’s peril. May be inrteresting to keep eyes on that area over the next year or so.
It looks as if PW has quite a few (and new) constitutional and charitable duties to keep him busy until Christmas and his 2010 diary is also just about full. It is also being mooted he is to attend the draw for the soccer world cup in december at Cape Town and probably make his annual visit to Kenya where one of his charities is based. He seems to do that at least once each year but this is speculative as I have no actual knowledge on that particular matter.
Hope the weather in NY is favourable over the next two weeks as I am visiting and will certainly visit ‘the Met’ and the Frick to savour the Turners and Vermeers (amongst the many others) as they have always been my favourite painters.
I have the feeling that KM will be quite inactive over the next few months with very few sightings but hopefully will be seen out with PW with up and down the King’s Road area. That now seems to be their ‘chosen area’ for meals and cinema with sightings along the embankment so I have heard and how exiciting it would be to bump into them one sunday morning. Some hopes??!!
Bye the way, yes, close too she is very striking!
October 22nd, 2009 18:21
Hi Folks,
Ked it’s nice to hear from you but I’m still trying to figure out what fall out are you talking about?
I’m still waiting to see what next year will bring for William & Kate but I do hope there will be a nice surprise in it for us all.
Many people who have met her say that she is very tall and very beautiful. That’s the people I would like to hear from more, people who have met her and even talked to her.
October 22nd, 2009 18:40
Bye the way, yes, close too she is very striking!
Good to know Ked.
October 22nd, 2009 18:50
Well one hopes the establishment learned the lessons of the 80’s…

And no wicked Princess Ann a la Queen Mother decides to make lives ‘les miserables’.
October 22nd, 2009 19:06
Thanks for posting, ked. I have posted recently that I believe that PW and KM are residing together and likely in the area that you mentioned. I agree that we won’t likely see much of Kate when not with William and that,I believe is being orchestrated by powers behind the scenes. As we have stated before, only time will tell what lies ahead but from where I am sitting, things look smooth at this point.
October 22nd, 2009 20:01
Ked, don’t miss the Holbeins (Cromwell and More facing off) and the Van Dycks at the Frick (my favorites). In fact that’s my favorite museum and I have been to a few great ones.
October 23rd, 2009 03:07
i really love seeing Chelsy having fun with bea
October 23rd, 2009 08:03
Interesting post Ked. I to, believe that KM & PW are living together somewhere. And thanks for the positive complement on KM.
2010 has to be the year for PW & KM -one, I am tired of waiting for the announcement and second – they are getting older. Time to settle down and take on responsiblities.
October 23rd, 2009 08:04
Careful Ked, don’t make your new wife jealous.

family or friends
please explain
October 23rd, 2009 14:59
kd,I hope your right but I have doubts. Part of me would not be at all surprised to hear the news tomorrow but a part of me also strongly feels these two will put the big move off as long as they can to avoid all the “BS” that comes with it. And make no mistake, plenty of BS comes along with their marriage, especially for Kate.
October 23rd, 2009 16:31
well that is part of the deal and if sh can’t deal with it she needs to move on
October 23rd, 2009 16:40
Evening All,
Well Lisa and Kd, I know we usually look back on past royal marriages when we talk about William & Kate’s possible future marriage but I think they will just have to define what marriage means to them and bring some new flava to the table. My best bet is that their partnership will be in sync and not one person trying to outdue the other.
It’s important to follow some traditions but I really do think they will come up with some of their own traditions and help change the face of the Monarchy. Some people blasted William for hinting that there’s more to being royal than cutting ribbons and officially opening places but he is right. Of course those things are important and the couple will be doing those things but as he pointed out, there’s more to it and you can really get involved with your causes. As Prince Andrew said, you can see being royal as a burden or an opportunity and I believe this couple will seek new opportunities in their royal roles.
In reality some change as to come about within the royal family and I think this couple will at least start the change.
October 23rd, 2009 17:42
Great thoughts,Rman. I think you are quite right about William and Kate being the ones to bring about change in the monarchy. So much is going on right now with William and the possible change in his SAR duties it is hard to know what will happen next. If William is out of the SAR program because of cuts,I think he will little choice but to take up his royal duties fulltime and that could mean marriage sooner rather then later.
October 23rd, 2009 21:53
