harrypoloAcutely aware of the precarious finances of the charity he set up to help orphans in Africa, Prince Harry is planning to take part in a lucrative fund-raising polo match in America.

Potential donors from Virginia, USA are to meet Harry next month at Clarence House, the Prince of Wale’s London home, to discuss switching an annual polo tournament in which he takes part, from Gloucestershire to America.

In May, Harry, 25, played in a polo match in New York which was attended by several famous figures, including Madonna and Jennifer Lopez. “It was a big success and raised a substantial six-figure sum” said one of his chums. “He is keen for his charity to build on that success. He was delighted with his reception.”

Didn’t Harry just inherit £9 million? Instead of begging other people for money and bringing to light the fact that his charity is failing and that most of the money is spent on administrative costs, why doesn’t he give some of his own money to Sentebale? Isn’t that the sort of thing Diana would have wanted that money to be used for? And let’s not forget all the taxpayer money that will be wasted on another overseas visit. Even if grandma will pay for the trip, who will pay for his security? We will.

Aw – I was going to say that I’m happy he’s coming back again, though I could do without the Hollywood crowd this time.

Peach, I don’t think Diana would have wanted either of her sons to give their own income away. Such a thing would not only be totally unfair, it would be just plain wrong.

It’s Harry’s own personal money, and he’s entitled to it. Harry is entitled to keep his own money just like everyone else in the world is entitled to keep their own money.

That’s why people raise money for charity, so that they don’t have to give all of their own income away.

Harry probably gives some of his own money away to charity, but how much he gives and what charities he gives it to is his personal business, it’s between Harry and his accountant and doesn’t have a thing to do with the public.

So there’s no way any of us would know what Harry has and has not given to charity, and more importantly, Harry doesn’t have to give his own income away just because some weirdos think he should.

The weirdos need to give their own money away FIRST, show concrete evidence of giving their own money away, THEN talk about Harry’s money.

Mapleleaf, where do you get the audacity to call me a “weirdo”?

“The weirdos need to give their own money away FIRST”. I am not a millionaire. In fact, I am currently unemployed and living off of my savings. How dare you demand that I give my money first? Why don’t you give YOUR money away?

Even if I did have money, I would never donate to Sentebale because most of the money would go towards administrative costs, not actually the children for whom the charity is set up for.

You could have come to Harry’s defense and disagreed with me in a much more polite, respectful, and intelligent manner. But you’re clearly incapable of that.

I found this BBC video about Diana’s crash case to be very interesting.

Although I think all of this need to be put to rest, if the truth is that Diana did not die in a car accident but was murdered, I don’t think William & Harry would be able to handle that.

What do you all think of this?

I watched the video, but I’m not sure he has anything new to add to this…AND he is trying to sell a book.
