this should have been done YEARS ago.
I feel this is a real slight at Diana that they all waited until NOW to do this.

I am sorry but I don’t support it based on the timing.

  • Me #7 - December 12, 2009 at 12:46 pm

I do support it, there is a potential girlfriend – Kate – whom might end up our Queen. This paparazzi in the video said that she is the most wanted person / $ selling pics of her! In fact this is the second time a well rekwnown photographer confirms the fact about KM.

I bet the firm new this information from the media about who is the most soughted and who is that member that the media would pay lots of $. Results to be a non member, its the girlfriend!

really? The harassment act for PCC did not exist at Diana’s time.

So now HM is applied a goodwill letter to the media requesting a sort of respect our private lives and throwing in the wind a caution/warning of “harassment”.

Watch this space, perhaps in the following months some kind of news may happen, that will make the media go in a “frenzy”.

  • really? #8 - December 12, 2009 at 1:27 pm

i am almost certain there was a woman who won this against the paps in england – an actress young she was dating Jude Law before.

So I wonder – if she can win why haven’ they yet?

  • Lisa #9 - December 12, 2009 at 1:28 pm

    Sienna is her name.

  • Me #10 - December 12, 2009 at 3:17 pm

Kate sure has won a case, a like Sienna Miller.

The members of the RF have to not worry, they will never be harrased, only if KM gets to marry William IMO.

Re watch the video again. See the opinion, which is a fact of the paparazzi who said the public, the media, the paparazzi want Catherine with William or Catherine in the photo. As I said, this is the second photographer, the other was from the Ibz German site that has said she is the money maker.

  • Me #11 - December 12, 2009 at 3:33 pm

I believe the firm, Hartbottle & Lewis have spoken to Kate about this situation. I do not think she will in “random” situations (doing her thing in the street, which is fair game for the papz) smile a like before. I understand she already tried that giving them their shot, but they just got worst, they wanted more.

  • Rman #12 - December 12, 2009 at 3:40 pm

This is why I think this plan is getting underway, once William & Kate make their announcement things could get out of hand. Bringing a breath of fresh air into the royal family isn’t easy today.William & Kate or Catherine are not the only money makers but so is Harry & Chelsy, Beatrice & Eugenie. It’s the young the media wants and establishing rules for the royals privacy is just the best thing.

I hope everyone is prepared for some interesting articles. Only one of them is from Katie Nicholl, and for once it looks like she’s repeating accurate information, but then again she’s discussing the Queen and William, which might account for her unusual accuracy.

:D Everyone judge the 3 articles for yourselves:

  • mapleleaf #17 - December 12, 2009 at 6:30 pm

:D I’m surprised Rman, usually I’m the last to see anything! Here’s another article, one that has some interesting info. Apparently the Starlight Foundation has found favour with the Duchess of Cornwall:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/theroyalfamily/6797605/Duchess-of-Cornwall-takes-Kate-Middletons-charity-to-her-heart.html

This article is from Mandrake and it’s in the Telegraph. I think things are status quo and going along nicely for Wills and Kate right now.

  • Rman #18 - December 12, 2009 at 6:32 pm

Mapleleaf I can only hope that some change is brought about next year. Most recently we have been seeing Kate’s involvement with charities and I hope that will continue next year. I just hope we see the couple doing more things together.

  • Phoebe #19 - December 12, 2009 at 6:42 pm

I think the notion that HM is pushing PW ahead of Charles is hogwash, and the “secret document” does not support that thesis.

  • Rman #20 - December 12, 2009 at 7:18 pm

I don’t think The Queen is pushing William ahead of Charles but The Queen knows that it’s time for William to increase his role and this trip is part of it. The three men that will be flying the flag for Britain in the future will be Charles, William and Harry. Other members of the royal family doing their part too.

I can only hope soon Kate will be part of this because I personally think she has been waiting far too long. I’m waiting to see what next year will bring.

  • sojourner #23 - December 12, 2009 at 9:03 pm

Thanks, Rman, for the pic. They do seem a little put out by the paps — which leads me to concluded that the editor was having fun with the “luvvied up” reference. Unless fellow theater goers got to shows for the price of one, but that has not been their style.

  • jj #24 - December 12, 2009 at 9:14 pm

Good to see them out and about together!!

  • jj #25 - December 12, 2009 at 9:26 pm
  • jj #26 - December 12, 2009 at 9:29 pm

I don’t really know what to make of the above article or why this weekend there have been a flurry of stories. I think that it is time that the RF do start to do something for kate rather than leave her out in the cold to manage on her own, however if at this point she is having doubts because of the paps and marrying into the royal family then there is a problem… It is only going to get worse so ahhh IDK..

  • Rman #27 - December 12, 2009 at 10:26 pm

JJ all these stories from the tabs will drive you insane and the crazy part is people will start to believe it.

That’s why I’m just waiting to see what next year will bring because there are too many stories being thrown at us right now.

It’s good to see the couple out and enjoying a show. It goes to show us that they are doing just fine despite the doubts that is being spread around the forums. William & Kate are going on strong and I’m happy to see it.

  • jj #28 - December 12, 2009 at 10:37 pm

    Indeed Rman

There have been a lot of nonsensical rumor mongering going around that they had split. They are just quietly doing their own thing.. I do however believe it is time but as we know they are not working on my schedule…

  • Katharine #29 - December 12, 2009 at 10:42 pm

I don’t buy the “Kate in anguish” nonsense. It’s just a way to sell papers by writing about Kate. The RF might be preparing for an engagement and that’s why they’re addressing the paps issue but it’s NOT because Kate is stressed out.

  • really? #30 - December 12, 2009 at 11:43 pm

dm article says kate was ENRAGED at hate mail due to hunting

i do think the hunting no no’s are a bit much BUT i hope this isn’t true – it does not bode well for the future.

  • Lisa #31 - December 13, 2009 at 12:01 am

Wow, not sure what to say about all of this. Obviously the biggest news is the story about William taking over a chunk of the Queens duties. That is a jaw dropper for sure!

Things seem to be happening quickly.

Nice picture of the couple at the theatre. :)

  • bluefire #32 - December 13, 2009 at 12:02 am

i like the dress that kate wore nice and easy and i think she comfortable with glad too see them again out together

  • bluefire #33 - December 13, 2009 at 12:07 am

rman do have any pics of the couple try to find me please..

  • Rman #34 - December 13, 2009 at 12:28 am

bluefire currently this is the only picture we have of the couple at this time:

    http://tinyurl.com/ydpjgpf

Hopefully there will be more soon.

Lisa I think the media is making it seem like The Queen is skipping over Charles and handing over all the royal duties to William. Now we know that’s not true. Charles will get the throne first but just because he’s first in line to the throne does not mean he can handle all her duties himself, he will have his two heirs helping him out and I think that’s what this is about. The Queen is giving William his share of royal duties on her behalf. Not skipping over Charles.

  • Rman #35 - December 13, 2009 at 12:41 am

Folks, I think the media is making it clear that they want to see a young Monarch on the throne once Her Majesty goes but they just have to face reality that they will get an older King. The role I’m most interested in seeing William in is The Prince of Wales role. Also the United Kingdom and Commonwealth will have another Princess of Wales.

  • Rman #36 - December 13, 2009 at 12:45 am

I want to make it clear that I’m in no hurry to see that happen though, I’m enjoying Her Majesty’s reign. The Queen just amazes me. Long may she reign.

  • just visiting #37 - December 13, 2009 at 8:28 am

Roman, I think you are over stepping the line to be speaking for British people. Who are “they” you refer to, who want to see a young Monarchon the throne rather than Prince Charles, “an older King? Most of the people around me feel he would make a great King and so do I. what age has got todo with it?

  • Rman #38 - December 13, 2009 at 11:05 am

    Good Evening,

just visiting, I think Charles will make a great King too. I did not say he wouldn’t. I was just pointing out that the media is busy pushing for William to be King and that’s not how it goes. That is something the media has to accept.

  • Phoebe #39 - December 13, 2009 at 11:11 am

Re: the KM in anguish article

I believe the first paragraph of the article. I’ve felt that that has been the story for awhile. However, the rest of the article is BS.

  • Amandie #40 - December 15, 2009 at 8:18 pm

Hi I have to admit to be a bit of a lurker on this blog too. I agree with that YouTube videos about Kate are incredibly offensive. But what made me curious enough to reply for the first time was that you guys claim to know or be in contact with Kate, and that she’s considering taking legal action against people, and I agree she’s well within her rights. But I’m guessing that none of you know Kate personally, and so I’m wondering why she’s told you such sensitive information and given you permission to publish it on the public domain. If I was Kate I’d want it to be kept private and confidential. Anyways here’s to my first reply.

  • Iva #41 - December 15, 2009 at 9:36 pm

Great to see them out and about, and I’m glad they are using the back doors to detract rather than attract attention.
Hope they have a security team onboard that thinks outside the box to out-trick the constant pap barrage.
Kate…. wear that gorgeous blue again!!!

  • Rman #42 - December 15, 2009 at 11:26 pm

    Hello Amandie, welcome to BRW.

You are right, those videos and comments on YouTube are extremely offensive and also the comments on some websites but I really don’t think Kate pays any attention to any of it. It’s very easy for people to sit infront of a computer and judge pictures of a personto death but in reality unless you have met that person in the pictures before, you really don’t know them. It’s all about judging a book by it’s cover. Kate Middleton don’t seem to let the slanderous remarks hurt her and she continues to smile, hold her head up high and carry on with her relationship with the prince.

I really don’t think anyone on here has claimed to actually know Kate personally. I do believe it’s possible for her to persue legal action against websites is she wants to but no, she haven’t told anyone here about any of that because no one here knows her like that.

I hope you will post here again.

  • dagsi #43 - December 16, 2009 at 12:57 am

Hi Amadie, it’s good to have you here. Like Rman said, no one here knows Kate personally. Some may have mentioned that they live near her parents’ house in Berkshire or have seen her in the flesh… but I don’t think anyone claims to really know her.

I’m not sure what you mean about Kate’s press complaints. It’s an established fact that she has complained to the PCC in the past and that the court has decided she’s suffered severe harassment in the hands of the paps after reviewing pictures and videos gathered for many months. As a result, she’s gained a bit of protection from the law. I’m not too clear on what it is, but I’m sure someone more knowledgeable can explain and perhaps provide you with a link or two.

I’m not aware of Kate complaining against any website. Perhaps loyal Kate defenders just think she should…

  • really? #44 - December 16, 2009 at 1:13 am

i am guessing one person on here knows her quite well – but not the one who says the stuff about her legal issues

  • Rman #47 - December 16, 2009 at 10:59 am

    Good Morning,

I say, so what who cares. At least the boy has a hot girlfriend despite his hair loss. That is what worry many of us men from the beginning, will any woman want me with very little hair? and that’s not something he has to worry about. William is getting older and he’s not that younger golden prince people seem to remember. I can say this because I’m the same age as William.

  • curious #48 - December 16, 2009 at 11:35 am

Yes, Lisa and Rman. He looked so hot and good at yesterdays Millie Awards gala pics.
    Worn-out needling and carping.

  • really? #49 - December 16, 2009 at 11:57 am

honestly they both look amazing – hot and young

i think the double harry and wills package is a GREAT idea

my take on it is that Wills is more reluctant maybe he has performance issues not that he doesn’t like to help

and maybe harry can encourage him and take some of the limelight away from wills which i think William likes – i think Wills is dedicated and can work hard but i dont’ know that he is a front a centre type of person – harry just is

as a duo who are both diana’s sons and grandson of the queen they are really the best pair to carry on the monarchy

if wills is at all releluctant about being on the world stage i think having harry there but in the back ground to support him is a great idea and means they have the star power to bring forward the monarchy – well maybe not star power but monarchy diana it thing.

Leaving marriage out of the equation as long as wiliam is willing to come to the fore front is a great idea

the only way that kate would eclipse these two is if she has the it thing that diana had

for example there was a lot of hype about Sophie before she was married and after not much

it takes a special person to be as awe inspiring as Diana

    just my opinion

takes the pressure of off kate to to have to be something she isn’t

  • really? #50 - December 16, 2009 at 11:58 am

    continually awe inspiring that is!

  • really? #51 - December 16, 2009 at 12:01 pm

maybe kate can be like the queen mother

and if ked is right and kate has been saying no to marriage and several times maybe she is like the Queen Mother in that she inspires Wills???? conforts him and will put on a good smile and be a nice person but let him lead…….

The queen mother said no several times to her eventual husband

PS how will we refer to the Queen mother once the Queen is no longer with us?

  • really? #52 - December 16, 2009 at 12:02 pm

    comforts
    not confronts!
    ok last post i swear!

  • Rman #53 - December 16, 2009 at 12:45 pm

really?, the thing about Diana is that she had the choice to sink or swim and she decided to swim. Her marriage was going downhill and the royal court was pushing her into a corner, she really had no other choice but to come out fighting like a wildcat and that made people love her more, including her charity work. I think Kate is the lucky one because I don’t believe William will treat her like Charles treated Diana. I think this pair will be equal partners and one will not try to outdue the other. I think after all this time Kate knows William is the future head of the Monarchy and will play the supporting role.

I think the marriage between William & Kate will restore some hope for the future of the Monarchy. Some people may dislike Kate now due to many misleading articles but I think they will start to see what William have seen in her all these years once she start playing an important royal role alongside William and with the help of Harry. People may disagree with me on this but I think this girl is ready for a life in the royal family. Just by being a girlfriend, she has been through hell and back for continuing to stand by William’s side and have yet to pull out her hair…..it’s still long. Hopefully we will see more proof by next year that she can handle all of this.

  • really? #54 - December 16, 2009 at 2:08 pm

i just dont ‘think kate could be liked in the same way

    maybe for supporting william -
but not for the love of her work

not even the Queen gives off the impression she loves her work – she is dutiful though and enjoys it

diana was special as is the queen

kate will bring only support i think

    just my opinion
