CH really don’t like to talk about the Princes private lives unless the Princes allows it or something official happens. The way CH has comfirmed the relationships is by allowing the couples to be pictured together. The biggest royal acceptance we got of Kate is when she attended the Order of The Garter service.

Yes I see William on the cover of Hello!. It was good that he cooked for the kids and I hope everyone enjoyed their breakfast. It’s also good to see the couple on the cover too. I sometimes wish we could hear more about them and how they will spend the holidays.
It appears William’s choice to give Hello! an exclusive on the pictures is causing some controversy.
I can understand both POV’s. IMO,the paps are at the bottom of this and pushed him too far. I cannot blame him because he is probably worried they will do to his wife what they did to his mother.
Richard Palmer is not happy. He does make some good points,IMO. I am just not sure the Hello! deal is really a good comparison to the peeping long lenses at Sandringham.

My take on this…
Firstly, the fact that William “sold” rights to pictures of him cooking for the homeless kids, does not,IMO, compare to intrusive pictures taken by paps at Sandringham. Apples and oranges.
As brought up in Richard article,Hello obtained pictures of the Philips/Kelly wedding for a steep price. Fact. But what is not fact is that the RF sanctioned that deal. We don’t know that.
Do I think members of the Royal Family should continue this practice? No. Even for charity, it is not a good practice and will bring them grief in the end.
In response to the idea that William and Kate would sell out their engagement announcement..I don’t think we have to worry about that. Protocol will be followed and the Lord Chamberlain will make the announcement.
Frankly,I think the Paps are out of hand and the only way to right this whole mess is for papers like the one Richard works for,need to start turning away the pictures they are offered by the paps who use intrusive methods to obtain them.
Clearly William is trying to freeze out the red tops with this move. A risky one at best.
This selling of pictures is a can of worms.
As for Peter Phillips and the cap — JFK Jr. he’s not.

To photograph or not to photograph seems to be on everyone’s mind , pen and pencil but I do think the entire matter has gone from bad to worse over the past 4/5 years.
Even in PD’s time there was a little decorum but now it’s ‘blame the press’ or ‘blame the RF’ but in honesty I do think that the ‘chef’ has to take a great deal of the heat as his attitude and pique over the last few years has , at the very least, brought attention to what was just an irritant at odd times. Now it is a ‘never ceasing’

With Diana dead – he can surely command that press respect him – the problems is he isn’t too fond of actually following through on not trying to manipulate them himself – photo of kiss after ug and then other instances i won’t list
as subject of said photography you need to set the limits and you need to follow through on those limits in a reasonable manner

Palmer is being deliberately disingenuous. The “privacy” aspect of the Centrepoint breakfast was the privacy of the homeless persons who were eating there. Centerpoint designated it as a private function, not PW. That’s different than the privacy that the Queen is requesting. And Palmer knows it.
Ked, I agree with you. I was thinking about this week and Kate, Chelsy, and Mike. I wonder how much of the Queen’s decision was due in part to all the comments both pro and anti William and Kate. Both sides have strong feelings. I think with all the negativity, claims and counter claims, pro and anti wedding, maybe she has had enough. Maybe she feels that the family needs a week of rest from all the speculation. I am just guessing. I feel sorry though for the couples who can’t spend time together on a very special holiday.
BUT it would be easy enough to get pictures ofwilliam only to print …

It seems that many forget the labels that PD put onto PW when he and PH were younger. In the first instance she speculated that PH would make a better Sovereign and that PW was both devisive and sly with a capacity to shift blame without acceptance for his own actions.
Similar traits were observed by his peers and master of house whilst at Eaton and PW seemingly translates some of these into his approach to life and they are obseved when dealing with situations especially connected with that part of live he considers private.
He demonstrated part of his selfish attitude by independent extending his RAF service with SAR despite knowing that HM and senior members of the RF had already committed him to several royal duties from early 2009 to assist in taking pressures off HM and PP.
Did he take on this extended service in responce to some restrictions placed upon him by the senior RF members or was it a further nefarious attitude to gain time and avoid the decisions and pressures he thought were piling up around him for which he felt he either could not or would not attend too.
Are these latest boob boobs related to these earlier attitudes or brought about by others attempting to now appease him in thr hope of obtaining a degree of control and compliance.
PW has and is showing himself to be of a very complex nature with little respect for control and attitude and will certainly have to deal with these in his life as well as in his present chosen job in the SAR where discipline is both paramount and essential.

I don’t know = I have seen him at a lot recently and I think he has made reall effort not to be partying every weekend in public which is good.
I personally think his unwillingness to go forward is a self confidence issue – something destroyed him when he was young which is crazy in my mind because he was about he best looking guy in high school at the time. But something shook him to his core and I think he sees nothing but trouble for those that are involved and he gets scared
remember he is adventurous and he did go to south america on his gap year so he isn’t all that uncommitted

“unforgivable” is a bit strong. We dont even know the details of the deal. In the end,the charity benefited. William appears committed to Centerpoint and is doing his part to raise awareness for homelessness. This is not really a moral issue, it is a media issue because some media outlets,such as the one Richard Palmer works for,are upset that they were frozen out of pictures.
It is about William and his family trying to shut out “red tops” and use more desirable publications such as Hello! to get their message out.
The tabloids are starting to pay the price for the years of harassment of not only the Princess of Wales but of Kate Middleton. According to Richard Palmer and others,William is the driving force behind the privacy warning HM issued to the papers. If true, the man is beginning to mark his course and he is making it known that his wife and his family will not be subject to paparazzi harassment and wisely he is doing it in the form of a premptive strike before he announces his engagement. Setting the tone for the future. Good for him,the paps are out of hand. We have all seen the pictures and the videos. Do we really want history to repeat itself?
Again the thing that struck me while watching this video is that Harry is a lot more comfortable in front of the camera. Whether that is because he doesn’t have as much pressure on his as William does or just because he is a natural I don’t know but….

Remember, if the vehicle is well maintained and one keeps off the slippery black ice then most of the damage is caused by the driver’s attitude.
However, whilst shopping around some of the eggs get broken and here and there the odd rotten vegetable drops in and invariably spoils the fare.
The vehicle however remains sound and eventually the bad eggs and rotten veg are identified and carted away. It often happens and always recovers.
