Prince Harry moves into Chelsy Davy’s £1.5m Apartment

Prince Harry has moved in to Chelsy Davy’s £1.5million London apartment – another sign that their relationship is back on track.

Harry is training as an Army Air Corps helicopter pilot  in Hampshire during the week, but he is increasingly using Chelsy’s Belgravia flat as his weekend base.

Chelsy has given him a set of keys to the three-bedroom apartment, and according to her friends, Harry was a regular fixture at her Belgravia home before she left the UK at Christmas.

‘The apartment has three double bedrooms. Chelsy and Harry share the master room and the two spare rooms are always made up in case her family come over to stay.

‘They would throw house parties for friends and Harry was helping Chelsy do the place up. He had quite a lot of his stuff there and said he preferred being there to Clarence House, which is not what you would expect of a palace. It’s actually small and when William and Kate Middleton stay there as well, it’s really cramped.’

    Good Evening,

I think if Harry & Chelsy wants to move their relationship forward by moving in together, that’s beautiful but I wonder how the media got this information?

Just curious – were there any sightings of PW in London after his tour? When is he expected in Wales? I was thinking maybe he & KM escaped to a nice warm place for a quiet holiday before he goes on his next training duty.

I don’t know Kd, when the press come up with secret information on William & Kate, some posters falsely accuse the Middleton family for leaking info. So I just wonder where this info on Harry & Chelsy came from.

I hope Kate was excited about her gifts. I think it was very nice for the Australian people to give Kate some gifts. William must have been really touched by that.

Well Rman, the accusing finger is Pippa for Kate, as was Sarah for Diana.

Thus in Chelsy’s case I’ve read Olivia Perry aka Bubbles. When you use the search engine (I used googles) and let’s say type ‘Bubbles Chelsy Davy’, my screen pops up with the following:
    - Prince Harry and former girlfriend Chelsy Davy met at a mutual … It helps that Harry is a friend of Bubble’s, too,”
    - Chelsy Davy has turned to her best friend Bubble to help her work things out with Britain s Prince Harry.
    - Dan Philipson is the man who caught Chelsy Davy ’s attention after her … night and a few other girlfriends, including best friend Bubble.

This is a video of Tina Brown discussing Diana following the publication of her publication the Diana Chronicles.

At 6mins 49 secs, she stars talking about KM and says that a wedding was on the cards but it wasn’t William who dumped Kate, but rather Kate got cold feet.

And what Tina Brown speaks about in the Oct. 2007 video matches with events of W&K that year.

And I just confirmed by google search, that the 2nd video truly as recent as mentioned, 3 months ago, because during October 2009 onward – Tina Brown recently spoke at the new “Diana: A Celebration” exhibit at the National Constitution Center, is in fact an exhibit and still rolling. :)

Well, I’m not sure that Kate was living with William at Clarence House. It’s known that she’s not a stranger to CH nor is Chelsy. They do stay there from time to time with William & Harry but I don’t think Kate was fully living at Clarence House.

God knows what caused the split back in 2007, but now Kate seems to be a very strong woman and accepts the life she will have as William’s wife.

Tina Brown made some very interesting points on what Diana thought about royal life. It’s not an ideal lifestyle but you have to have time to adjust to that kind of lifestyle before you marry into it. Diana & Sarah didn’t have time to adjust to it, they were thrown in without much thought. Sophie Countess of Wessex was given time to adjust to royal life before her marriage. Infact, we do know that she was living at Buckingham Palace with Edward way before their marriage. Kate is currently given the opportunity to adjust to royal life too. She is very use to the cold, rainy days at Balmoral, the lodge and Birkhall. She has seen the stiff rituals of royal ceremonies like the Garter Service, and passing out parades. She have also attended several royal weddings. She now knows the role she will have to play as William’s wife because she’s now use to that kind of life.

It’s just sad that Diana & Sarah had these kind of chances before their marriages.

Tina is nasty – there is a really crumby quality to her and it shows through immensly in her book about Diana – she even makes her out to sound odd as a baby —!!!!!

I think Tina wishes she was Diana -
so i take everything she says about Diana with a big grain of salt.

I think she also misses the essence of Diana by trying explain why people liked her —

oh and i don’t beleive you have know a role until you are in it – you can do all the training you want but once you are in it is different. Diana had a leg up on Kate because since birth she has lived with the royals — even on their estate prior to althorp so she understood the inner workings of the royal house and what she didn’t understand she could as her sisters and family. Kate doesn’t have anyone to call on in her family that could help her nor the years of intereracting with royals.

about the actual job though i think it takes doing it to know if you can or not ….

Sojourner, I have NO DOUBT that PC made Kates family pay. The reason I say this is because the first year receipts of PH setting his charity Sentebale up showed that it paid PC a consultation fee.

Interesting article though about other members of the Middletons family staying there. I should like a clarification of whether they guy one of the Midds were playng tennis with was Uncle GG. I didn’t think it was because he didn’t look tanned.

Hale, thanks so much for posting those videos. I had not seen either of them before.

really? I read Tina Brown’s book about Diana several years ago now, but what I recall from it is a bit different from yourself. I don’t think what she wrote was all bad, in fact, I’m sure she wrote some positive things too. I do remember that this book brought me to tears on more than one occasion.

I must read it again! I remember passing it to my father to read after me. He is a big Diana fan and does not have a lot of time for Prince Charles, I’m afraid.

I also agree with you about Kate getting the help she needs. God only knows what was going through Tina Brown’s head at the time she made that particular comment. It’s all too clear to me that Kate has had virtually no help at all.

I will keep reading Tina’s book then Lady B – I gave up when she described Diana as a baby and thought it a bit much…

Hale I wondered too about Duncan Laracombe.
why would he move when he had the straight line to the palace? Or better yet why would the paper move him?

I was GUESSING it was Mike Middletons brother and their family maybe?

Ny guess is Lacombe didn’t really want to be a royal correspondent, but viewed it as a stepping stone. He had to start from somewhere.

But the RF had a friend in him. I don’t think he was a great reporter, he didn’t write anything insightful, only just what the RF wanted.
