Oh, I feel bad for you Rman, because I can see how much you support Kate, and how the bad press and comments frustrate you!… but I´m afraid it´s never going to change, before or after the engagement announcement…

But I am certain that Kate and her family stopped taking note of tabloids and forums a long time ago and are doing just fine ignoring it and rising above those jealous people and nasty royal watchers!

Yes I think her appearences are controlled. Maybe this is fully her doing or maybe William’s team has given her some advice. She is close to them so I’m sure they will give her advice if she asks.

Lisa, I have never seen so much hate directed towards a royal girlfriend and her family in all my days following the royal family. There were talk about Diana’s family, Sarah’s family, Sophie’s family but never like the Middleton family. Over the years there has been so much misinformation and crap printed about them it’s not even funny. The comments (although just repeats) have a way of being so hurtful and just rude. All though this, the Middletons still remain silent about it. Sure there has been some articles that have come to their defence a bit but in my opinion, no one can do it better than William and the royals. He could at least say something about them and just express some appreciation publicly. I have no doubt that he does privately. They just wouldn’t be able to carry on without some private support from him.

I do hope the royals appreciate the sacrifices this family has made for William and them. The Middletons are not perfect but they are trying their best to be supportive to the couple, not letting the media get under their skin (I think it does privately) and they are trying to not mess things up for Kate. Kate really do have a great family and so much support but there’s a lack of appreciation going on here and to me, it’s just not right.

Guest,your thoughts are right on as well. The RF does lie. They lie until they are ready to release the truth. I read a book on Diana recently in which the author makes a statement regarding a denial in the press by the RF about something or another and what she said really rings true…she said something like “they only usually deny things that are true”. LOL.

And finally, The comments that the DM are allowing to be published about James and Pippa attending the fashion awards are disgraceful. Obviously they are being flooded by members of the infamous hate site but still. I don’t get these people. Just because they are related to Kate and they hate Kate,why pick apart and attack everything her family does. How would they feel if it was them? So mean and hateful. I wonder if any of these haters sit in their house of worship on sunday and think about what they say about total strangers? I feel so bad for the Middletons. I hope HM and the rest of the family knows what they have gone through during William and Kate’s relationship and appreciate it.
