Blog Comment Policy

Offensive Language / Personal Attacks / Flaming
Comments which contain language that I consider to be offensive will be edited or deleted entirely at my discretion. Personal attacks or inflammatory comments will be deleted. Repeat offenders may end up with a ban. If comments get too far off-topic I may edit/delete offending comments and close commenting for that particular post.

Pointless Posts
Comments like “She sucks!” or “I agree” are kind of pointless. Please, at least string a few words together to form a sentence ;-)

Shouting / Flooding
Please don’t use all caps when posting your comments – IT LOOKS LIKE YOU’RE SHOUTING! If you’re trying to stress a point individual words in caps is fine. Continuously posting comments with the same text or thoughts is called flooding – posts like this will be deleted and users may receive a ban.

Linking to Sites
Please don’t leave links to your own personal website in the body of your comment. There is a place for linking to your website when you leave a comment. Linking to articles related to the Royal Family is permitted. To prevent SPAM attacks each comment can contain a maximum of three links. Any more than this and the post will end up in moderation.

To avoid long links getting stuck in the SPAM filters please consider using a free service such as TinyURL to shorten your link before posting.

Sometimes genuine links get caught as SPAM. We will do our best to approve them as soon as possible.

Impersonating Other Users
Not a good idea – the user will be dealt with via permanent ban.

SPAM / Referral Codes
It goes without saying but SPAM will not be tolerated. Users posting links which include referral code are expressly prohibited and will be edited/deleted at our discretion.
