Prince Harry apparently drowned his sorrows during a recent night out – because his longtime girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, is leaving town.

Harry partied with pals in the VIP area of London hot spot Whisky Mist. He arrived at 11pm on Friday and was seen downing glasses of Dom Pérignon, according to Britain’s News of the World newspaper.

“He was dancing and enjoying himself before going away for military training,” revealed one onlooker. (via Showbiz Spy)

Besotted Prince Harry is to have his girlfriend Chelsy Davy’s name tattooed near his crown jewels to prove his love for her.

Romantic Harry has told pals he wants it inked into his royal rump as a sign that the couple are meant to stay together.

One pal explained: “He wants something that will stay private between her and him but something that will show Chelsy that he means to make it last.”

Harry won’t be the first royal to have a tattoo in a discreet location. Queen Victoria is said to have had a small image inked where only Prince Albert would have seen it.

Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry have been snapped having a romantic lunch – quashing rumours they’ve split.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the couple decided to end things because Chelsy, 24, had left the UK for South Africa.

But Chelsy and Harry, 25, met up on Tuesday at the Grand Cafe restaurant in Cape Town and puffed on cigarettes for over an hour as the chatted.

Chelsy is moving to South Africa this week to begin a legal career and has told him they are over. The pair have had an on-and-off relationship for six years but friends say the spark has finally gone.

Blonde Chelsy, 24, told friends yesterday: “We’re finished. This is a new beginning for me. I want to start my career in South Africa where I plan to spend the rest of my life. I don’t want to live in Britain.”

They have not been seen together in public since Harry got his helicopter pilot’s wings on May 7. An insider said: “It was a gradual end to the relationship. It whimpered out.

“It’s not practical with Harry’s commitments to the Army and his family to be in a relationship with someone in a different country. It was an obvious time for a clean break. The spark is gone and she’s focused on moving back to be where her heart lies.”

Prince Harry is celebrating the end of his military exams with a five week backpacking holiday in South Africa. The Telegraph reports…

He is expected to take in some football at the World Cup and spend some time in Mauritius with his girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Afterwards he will return to Botswana for the start of his first official tour with Prince William in mid-June.

The 25 year-old will be accompanied on the trip by a small entourage of protection officers provided by the Metropolitan Police.

Amongst plans for the trip is a stint on a houseboat with friends on the Okavango Delta. Other highlights include a camping safari in Botswana.

The Daily Mail reports that Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are still very much an item after they were spotted dining at a posh London restaurant on Valentine’s Day…

The couple had booked a table at Julie’s restaurant in Holland Park, West London. Other couples in the restaurant’s ‘gothic’ room barely gave them a second glance as they sipped champagne and ate from the £40-ahead menu on Saturday night.

Says a fellow diner: ‘They were deep in conversation and looked very happy.’
