The Daily Mail is reporting that prince Harry donned a black wig to go undercover in his quest to win back Chelsy Davy…

On Friday night the pair spent the evening cosying up together at a ‘rave for posh people’ in seedy Vauxhall, South London. Harry – who recently wore luminous pink nail varnish for a night on the tiles – wore a long black wig to stay incognito.

Surprisingly, his new look was something of a success, with scores of fellow ravers completely failing to spot him.

The paper quotes a source;

‘It’s a bit of an “anything goes” sort of place – but the fact that people kept on going up to Chelsy to ask about Harry with him standing right next to her was absolutely hilarious. Unbelievably, though, they just didn’t notice him at all.’

Australian gossip magazine New Idea has published an incredibly imaginative article alleging that Kate Middleton was responsible for a plan ‘to oust Chelsy for good’ after her split from Prince Harry.

Kate Middleton is the mastermind of a devious plot to keep Chelsy Davy away from Prince Harry. Chelsy’s friends are calling it the ultimate act of betrayal after Kate orchestrated a wild night between the newly single prince and her best pal, Astrid Harbord.

The magazine quotes a source as saying, “She always secretly wanted Chelsy out of Harry’s life.”

Prince Harry has been seen taking a supposed “dead ringer” for ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy back to his royal residence after a long night out, a report claims.

The 24-year-old prince, whose relationship with Davy ended last month, was said to be “all over” 27-year-old Astrid Harbord as they club-hopped around London on Friday night, British tabloid News of the World reports.

Harbord is an old friend of Kate Middleton, the long-time girlfriend of Harry’s brother Prince William.

Harry and Harbord were seen laughing together as they partied at exclusive venues including the Park Lane Hilton and Raffles nightclub, before taking a car back to Harry’s palatial Clarence House at about 3.15am.

No-one was seen leaving the tightly guarded residence for some hours, the newspaper reported.

The British media have seized on Harbord’s blonde hair and facial features to make inevitable comparisons to Davy.

A daughter of a wealthy publisher, Harbord and her sister were reportedly dubbed ‘The Hardcore Sisters’ at university because they loved to party, with Astrid once even boasting to a newspaper about her drinking ability.

“We’ll probably drink half a bottle of white wine a day in an average week, maybe more,” she was quoted as saying.

“We’re recovering at the moment after a huge drinking session in the K Bar for a friend’s 21st birthday party last night.”

They may have officially split up two months ago, but it seems the romance between Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy is far from over.

The couple, who have remained in regular contact since their break-up, enjoyed an  overnight reunion last weekend, prompting speculation among friends that they may yet get back together.

Their rendezvous took place in the London apartment of a mutual friend nicknamed ‘Bubble’, where Chelsy stays whenever she is in the capital. Bubble – whose real name is Olivia Perry – is Chelsy’s best friend in Britain and is said to be acting as a mediator between her and Harry.

The couple have been texting each other regularly since Chelsy called off their five-year relationship in January, with Harry ‘doing most of the chasing’.

Perhaps flattered by the attention, Chelsy finally agreed to meet the Prince at the four-bedroom apartment on the Kings Road, Chelsea.

‘It was a brief encounter and they hope to see each other again soon, although there are no firm plans at the moment,’ said a friend.

Now visitors to Cape Town can sample a taste of royal living for themselves by staying in the – dare one say it – rather tackily marketed Royal Love Nest Guest House.

The stylish £240,000 property, which is situated in the exclusive suburb of Newlands, was bought for Chelsy by her wealthy parents, Charles and Beverly, while she was studying at the nearby university.

Until just over a year ago, Harry, who is third in line to the throne, was a frequent visitor to the four-bedroomed house where he and Chelsy shared her charming white-washed bedroom, while his bodyguard slept in the room next door.

Prince Harry’s former girlfriend Chelsy Davy has been trying to woo him back [click for background music] amid reports he has struck up a close friendship with Australian songstress Natalie Imbruglia.

Davy, who dumped Harry in January, is believed to have invited the 24-year-old prince on a student pub crawl with her friends from Leeds University.

The infamous Otley Mile pub run is due to be held in April and will take in about 20 bars before passing through the university’s grounds and various nightclubs in Leeds.

“If you’re a student in Leeds, this is one of the biggest events on the social calendar,” an unnamed friend of Davy’s told the News of the World newspaper today. “You don’t just take anyone. Chelsy really wants Harry to be there and for them to be seen as a couple again. She’s missed him more than she thought she would.”

Harry was last week reported to have been flirting with 34-year-old Imbruglia, who has divorced Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns, at her fancy dress birthday party in London.

Friends of Davy say the 23-year-old student was jealous when she heard about her ex-boyfriend charming the Australian singer.

“Her biggest worry has been what would happen when Harry found another girl,” one friend told the newspaper. “It would be a bitter pill for her to swallow and she’s not ready for it. She now thinks she may never be ready for it.”

A source close to Harry said that the prince would “love to go” on Chelsy’s pub crawl but was worried about attracting bad publicity if he was seen out boozing.

“That doesn’t mean he’s going to run back into her arms,” the source said. “However he does want to see her, and it’s an event he would love.” (via Herald Sun)

Chelsy Davy is planning to move to Chelsea. The former girlfriend of Britain’s Prince Harry – whose relationship with the prince ended two weeks ago – is planning to set up home in the exclusive London area when she finishes her Masters course at Leeds University later this year.

A friend of the 23-year-old said: “Chelsea has all the glamour and high security of Canary Wharf while being near Chelsy’s favorite King’s Road boutiques.”

Chelsy Davy is planning a holiday with a handsome South African who famously referred to Prince Harry as a ‘wet fish’.

She has excitedly told friends that she is planning a trip abroad with Bradley Kirkland – known as ‘Jabu’ – a 22-year-old student and crocodile hunter from Cape Town, who is one of her closest friends.

The news is likely to come as a major blow to Harry, who is said to be ‘gutted’ about their split and has told friends he is desperate to win Chelsy back.

The Prince has been in constant text contact with his former girlfriend of five years over the past week and is not aware that Kirkland will join her on a holiday in April.

Yesterday, Harry was putting on a brave face over the split as he chatted and laughed with former rugby player Will Greenwood as the pair watched England’s Six Nations victory over Italy at Twickenham.

A friend told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Her party will include Jabu. He’s a shoulder to cry on and they are very close. Chelsy insists they are just good friends and says Jabu has a girlfriend at home. But there’s a definite chemistry between her and Jabu.

Although the five-year romance between Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy has hit the buffers, with both sides confirming a separation last week, we may not have heard the last about the party-loving couple.

Their affair has been widely written off as Harry’s first serious romance which had just run its course but I hear that certain senior royal courtiers have been briefed to prepare for the possibility of the pair getting back together again.

Other friends of the couple have professed themselves “mystified” at the break-up, not least because they had been told that both Harry and Chelsy had declared that the holiday they had in Mauritius last month had been their “best ever”.

Reports one member if their circle: “They both said they had a brilliant time and it certainly didn’t sound as if there had been arguments over their future. There’s no obvious reason for them splitting up…”

One courtier at Clarence House tells me: “As with any break-up it’s a bit of a sensitive time for both of them but there’s no great animosity and they are certainly still speaking. We’ve been told that this may just be a blip while they do their own things for a while and that this isn’t the complete and utter end.”
