Have William & Kate already set their Wedding Date?

Monday, August 17th, 2009

NOTWBritish paper News of The World are claiming that Prince William & Kate Middleton have already set a date for their Wedding…

For the News of the World can reveal Kate is at the heart of a new palace strategy for the royal family. We have been told the couple, both 27, have reached “an understanding” that their eight-year relationship WILL end in marriage. It is no longer a question of if but when.

The plan is that by the time the Queen celebrates her historic Diamond Jubilee in 2012 Kate will be on the palace balcony at her side as a fully-fledged princess.

Well-placed sources say that while marriage is a “done deal” it is not expected until 2011 at the earliest. And this explains why Kate is not bothered by teasing nicknames like “Waity Katie” and remains so cool.

She is secure in the knowledge that the secret pact has already been made and the palace blueprint for the future, creating our next Prince and Princess of Wales, is already firmly in place.

Prince William & Kate Middleton attend friend’s Wedding

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Prince William was teased yesterday at his best friend’s wedding: “You’ll be next”.

Kate MiddletonThe Royal had just walked long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton down the aisle after pal Nicholas van Cutsem tied the knot.

William, 27, laughed off the remark before heading to the reception with Kate, who he has dated since 2001.

He and brother Prince Harry, 24, who were both ushers, had arrived an hour early with the groom at the Guards Chapel, which is close to Buckingham Palace in central London.

A source at the ceremony said: “He has been with Kate far longer than most of his close pals – and more and more of them are getting married. “Nicholas’ comment was meant only as a joke – but it is increasingly likely that Wills and Kate will decide to take the plunge.”

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

Kate MiddletonKate Middleton is set to be trained in royal protocol and media communications ahead of the expected announcement of her engagement to Prince William. The Daily Star reports

Kate, 27, will not join nWilliam on any official engagements yet. But she will be trained in Palace protocol, how to behave on the engagements and how to deal with the media. She will also learn how royal properties and finances are run and will be given access to the family’s Chequers Committee –  headed by the Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Charles – that controls royal estates.

She will also learn about royal patronage and how members of the family form official attachments to the armed forces.

Courtiers know that both Kate and William, 27, fear she will become a figure of obsessive public fascination once the engagement is announced. “It has the potential to be even more intense than it was for the Princess of Wales,” warned the aide. “But Kate is going to be the best-prepared royal bride ever.”

William’s trip to Australia is expected to take place early in the New Year. He will travel to South Africa in June, where he will carry out a series of engagements and attend the World Cup.

Royal bride-in-waiting Kate Middleton seemed to have a new ring of confidence about her as she joined Prince William for a rare public outing – and showed what a gem she is. Kate, 27, got tongues wagging when she went to bizarre lengths to swap two rings around on her fingers as she supported the prince at a charity polo match…

Kate’s chance to show her stiff upper lip – Independent.ie

Will the Middleton Men tarnish Kate’s Crown? – Sunday Express
While she may be worried recent events will cast a dark shadow over her Highlands visit, the whole sordid saga is more likely to bring her even closer to her prospective future in-laws. For if there’s one thing the Royals can empathise with, it’s being caught in the centre of a scandal…

Let Kate Middleton have some fun – Telegraph
I have always rather suspected that there is more to Miss Middleton. She must have something about her to have attracted the most eligible bachelor in Great Britain, if not the world. Certainly, if her relatives are anything to go by, there is an element of fun in the Middleton gene pool…

How many MORE skeletons in Kate Middleton’s closet? – Daily Mail
With the exposure of his girlfriend Kate Middleton’s Uncle Gary as a coke-proffering lout with a lot of money, who spends much of his life loafing around on the holiday island of Ibiza, has shocked her so severely, says a friend, ‘that it’s almost physical’. Prince Charles, her putative father-in-law, has sent her a message urging her to ‘put it out of your mind’…

We should salute Kate Middleton’s mother – and every other ‘pushy parent’ – Daily Mail
The claims about Uncle Gary led to anguished analysis of Kate Middleton’s pedigree. Her mother Carole, a former air stewardess, was a special focus for discussion. She, like Gary, springs from a line of Durham builders and coal miners, and she has in the past been teased by snoots…

Don’t worry, Kate Middleton. My family is bleating with black sheep – Telegraph
Distant relatives are the best – and the further away, the better. That’s my theory of relativity. And, no doubt, Kate Middleton’s, when she thinks about her allegedly drug-taking uncle Gary in Ibiza. No matter your social class, everybody has at least one black sheep in their family flock…

Prince William & Kate Middleton kissing caught on Camera

Monday, July 20th, 2009

The Sun

It is the first picture of the pair kissing for more than two years. Wills and Kate, both 27, emerged arm-in-arm from a country pub on Saturday night.

As they stood in the car park, Kate pulled her man close for a passionate embrace.

An onlooker said: “They couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They looked happy and oblivious to everything else. The spark is clearly still there.”

Their clinch took place outside The Potting Shed pub in the village of Crudwell, Wilts. It came hours before Kate was embarrassed by her playboy uncle yesterday.
