‘Harry will have a break from the Army over Christmas and is planning a trip with Chelsy,’ said a chum. ‘He doesn’t have to be back at work until January 4 and is desperate to go on a romantic break. He’s convinced some time away in the sun is what their relationship needs.’

‘He loves Botswana but they haven’t decided where they are going yet. Chelsy will definitely go home to Cape Town for Christmas.’

The pair have been enjoying secret dates at Clarence House since getting back together.

The Daily Mail reckons that producers are working on a film based on Prince Harry’s life…

The picture, to be called The Spare, will be international in scale, with shooting set to start around this time next year on locations in the UK and the Middle East.

However, once director Peter Kosminsky and his producers have read the script they will start to get ideas about which young actor might portray the royal who is third in line of succession.

‘His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic, and public way. He’s a man born to no role, the heir and the spare. Then Harry joins the Army and for 77 days sees action in Afghanistan – and finds, possibly for the first and only time in his life, a role.’

‘Suddenly, he finds himself alongside ordinary guys. …For the first time in his life he doesn’t feel like a spare part. But then that’s snatched away and, fearing for his safety, the Army top brass send Harry home.’

A screenplay won’t be completed till the end of the year, meaning casting won’t begin until well into the New Year.

Prince Harry, the patron of Well Child, has attended the charity’s awards ceremony to honour sick children and the families who care for them.

According to News of the World Prince Harry smuggled Chelsy Davy back to his place after a night out last week…

He sent a flunky to hire DVDs from his local Blockbusters store, so the pair could curl up in front of the telly together. It is the clearest signal yet that their five-year romance is back on.

A close source said: “They were just hanging out together like any other couple does on a Sunday – chilling out on the sofa watching DVDs. They’re just testing the water right now. But neither of them have anybody else and they’re very happy to see each other.”

Friends say the pair plan a holiday together in South Africa as soon as they get a break from their busy schedules.

Meanwhile People.co.uk claim that Harry has been teasing Chelsy on Facebook…

The cheeky royal helped trigger a reunion by repeatedly altering his Facebook “relationship status indicator” – which describes whether the individual is single or dating.

Realising he could make Chelsy, 23, jealous, Army officer Harry then went even further and claimed he was getting married to a fictitious girl.

A source close to the couple said: “Harry knew that both he and Chelsy still held feelings for each other. A couple of months ago he began teasing her by announcing on Facebook that he was once again in a relationship. Chelsy is one of the friends that Harry has contact with via Facebook. He didn’t want to seem over keen by telephoning her and asking outright if she wanted to give their relationship another go.”

The Sun newspaper reports that Prince Harry will become a multi-millionaire when he turns 25 next Tuesday…

The birthday means Harry inherits his share of Princess Diana’s fortune, estimated at £9million. He and brother William, 27, inherited about £6.5million each when their mum died 12 years ago.

Both princes are prevented from spending the lump sum of their inheritance until they turn 30. But all income generated by Harry’s portion of the estate – around £300,000 a year – will go into his bank account from next week.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that the couple have had a string of clandestine meetings, with Chelsy visiting Harry at both his London residence, Clarence House, and at the property he shares with his brother Prince William.

The Prince is understood to have instigated the meetings, and the pair have been in regular contact by phone since Chelsy stayed over at Clarence House at the end of July.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Harry and Chelsy are back on, but they are keeping things very low key. They want to take it very slowly and are determined to keep things quiet. Chelsy in particular finds the media attention when she’s with Harry very hard to bear. They don’t want any pressure and have decided to keep the news very much between themselves.’

‘You certainly won’t see them out clubbing together, but they have been meeting up in secret over the past few weeks to talk about their future and whether they actually have one. Harry has missed Chelsy hugely and is desperate for things to work.’
