Prince Harry has opened his heart to The People about his love and admiration for his gorgeous girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
Looking happy and relaxed, while sipping from a bottle of beer in a trendy nightclub at 1.30am, he even hinted at a possible engagement.
Harry, 24, who plans to whisk her off on a £1,000-a night New Year holiday in Mauritius, confided: “I’ve told Chelsy we both have lots to look forward to next year. She is lovely, we are very happy together.”
Chelsy, 24, was letting her hair down with pals at London’s swanky Whisky Mist during the early hours of Friday. But while they chose the privacy of the club’s VIP area, Harry showed a more common touch by larking around with his mates at the bar in the main section.
“I will be taking her to see my gran this Christmas, it’s going to be a nice, quiet family one this year. I can’t wait. I don’t know what Papa has got me for Christmas. And I can’t tell you what I’ve got Chelsy. But she will love it. She works very hard so she likes coming out on nights like this and lets her hair down.”

The Queen wants Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton to get a proper full-time job before the young couple consider getting married.
There is renewed speculation that the couple, who recently enjoyed a romantic holiday in the Caribbean, are about to announce an engagement.
But Britain’s The Mail on Sunday newspaper said the Queen was worried that a proposal would be both premature and ill-advised.
Sources close to the Queen said she was concerned that William’s public image could suffer if the public did not consider Middleton, 26, to be a working professional in her own right.
“The Queen is very aware that it’s a serious and long-term relationship,” a senior aide told the Mail.
“Although they are not yet engaged, it seems more likely than not that Kate will be a Royal bride one day, and the Queen is of the opinion that Kate should be working.”
She quit her job as an accessories buyer for High Street chain Jigsaw at the end of last year and announced that she wanted to pursue a career as a photographer.
Middleton, who has been dubbed “waity Katie” because her life is in “limbo”, has spent the past three months working for her parent’s mail-order company, Party Pieces, photographing new stock for its website.
“It’s not what you would call a nine-to-five job,” said a friend of the Middleton’s.
“It’s an easy number for Kate and basically something to fill her days while she waits for William.”
Sources close to her said she has no immediate work plans while the 25-year-old prince goes through for his final attachment with the Royal Navy.

Kate Middleton has asked friends to call her Catherine, amid fevered speculation that Prince William is about to propose.
The Daily Mail reports that Middleton, 26, has asked friends and family to call her Catherine, a name with a more formal ring and a regal history.
Middleton is currently on holiday with Prince William on the Caribbean island of Mustique, and bookmakers in the UK have stopped taking bets on the likelihood of William proposing while the pair are away.
A friend told the newspaper: “Everyone knows it’s about to happen with Kate and William. There’s a distinct feeling that she has started to become very aware of her position.”
The name Catherine or Katherine has a long history for England’s royals – Henry VIII alone married three of them.
Let’s hope young Middleton’s royal future is a little luckier – Henry cast aside his first Catherine and beheaded another. (via Herald Sun)

This page will be continuously updated this weekend as news of Autumn Kelly and Peter Phillips’ Wedding becomes available! The wedding was held Saturday 17th May at 4pm at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle…
Zara Phillips has given her biggest hint yet that she wants to marry the England rugby player Mike Tindall.
The Queen’s granddaughter said that the pair exchanged vows of love every day, adding that she was waiting for Tindall to pop the question.
“I’m old-fashioned. I think they should ask you,” she said. “Everyone at the [Gloucester] rugby club seems to be getting married and having babies so they keep asking me, ‘What about you?’ We tell each other we love each other every day.”
Asked in an interview for GQ Sport magazine if she thought she had sown her wild oats she said: “Yes – I think I have . . . ”
Ahead of her appearance at the Badminton Horse Trials this Thursday, Ms Phillips also said in the interview that she preferred being known as a horse rider rather than as a royal.
When asked if she would have done anything differently in her life if she were not a member of the Royal Family, she replied: “Yes . . . because I could have got away with more things. So it’s probably a good thing I am.”
She also praised her family members, adding that she and her brother Peter had been brought up “quite normally”. She added: “I think it’s better to be known as a horse rider than a royal. They are my family but it’s nice to be known for something else.” (via Times Online)

Prince William is planning to formally propose to Kate Middleton at Christmas, The People can reveal.
The engagement has been warmly approved by the Queen who fears the monarchy could suffer if her grandson ditches Kate a second time.
And a wedding in the summer of 2009 – at St Paul’s Cathedral or Westminster Abbey – would be the most celebrated royal event since William’s father Prince Charles married Diana in 1981.
December has been earmarked for a public announcement from Army officer William, 25, and Kate, 26.
The couple are currently holidaying in the Swiss Alps – with a royal bodyguard accompanying Kate for the first time.
A highly-placed Royal source said: “A number of bridges have to be crossed before any announcement.
“A Christmas engagement will allow William time to complete stints in all the armed services.
“It will also allow Kate time to be to be gradually introduced to the Royal court and be groomed in such matters as protocol and service.” (via The People)

In recognition of the Queen and Prince Philip’s 60th Wedding Anniversary, Channel Four last night aired the documentary “The Queen’s Wedding”. It told the story of how the young couple’s path to the alter was strewn with controversy and difficulties, and how, behind the scenes, there was political machination, public hostility and court intrigue.
The documentary focused on the three main protagonists in the romance: the young Princess Elizabeth, the dashing sailor, Philip, and his uncle, Lord Louie Mountbatten, the matchmaker who ensured their union was secure.
Using a rich array of visual material, including film archive, photographs and diary entries, the documentary showed how Philip’s suitability was called into question: his “Teutonic strain” and his “unlikeliness to remain faithful”. It also described the manoeuverings of the ambitious Lord Mountbatten, who was determined to remove any obstacles placed in the way of the young couple.
The documentary then focused on the public hostility that the young couple faced after announcing their engagement: that the regalia of a royal wedding was frivolous in a time of post-war austerity. However the British public eventually warmed to the idea, and huge crowds turned out for the royal wedding, which Winston Churchill described as a “bright ray of colour on the hard, grey road we have to travel”.
60 years later, it is obvious that their marriage has stood the test of time, and has helped keep the monarchy stable in these modern times.

Kate Middleton has set tongues wagging after she arrived to curate a photo exhibition sporting a massive diamond ring on her left hand.
Wearing a demure grey gown Prince William’s girlfriend seemed in high spirits as she ran the event with her sister Pippa at The Shop in Chelsea.
Kate’s ring was on her middle finger, but that didn’t stop speculation over who bought the dazzling jewel for her.
William turned up late wearing a striking stripey shirt and black blazer. But he made up for his tardy arrival by having dinner with Kate, Kate’s sister and mother, and nightclub promoter, Guy Pelly.
