Prince Harry & Goldie launch TV Talent Show August 18th, 2010 at 5:50 am
Goldie, the drum and bass pioneer, DJ and graffiti artist will be scouting raw musical talent across the country for his forthcoming TV series and will be taking his specially chosen group to perform at Buckingham Palace, in the presence of guest of honour Prince Harry, at the grand finale of his mentoring programme.
The new series, Goldie’s Band – By Royal Appointment, for BBC Two, will follow Goldie on a mission to discover young people whose talent and passion for music is at the centre of their lives.
After undergoing intense training the group will attempt to stage a thrilling concert for an audience of special guests, including Prince Harry, at Buckingham Palace.

The Daily Star reports that Prince William & Kate Middleton are ready to tie the knot. They are tipping an engagement announcement in November and a June 2011 wedding…
The date for the marriage could also deflect attention away from the 30th anniversary of Charles and Diana’s doomed union on July 29. And it would also coincide with Prince Philip’s 90th birthday on June 10, giving William’s grandad a perfect present.
St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle has been mooted as the venue for the ceremony.
Princess Diana’s biographer Tina Brown suggested earlier in the year that the wedding would announced in June this year.
She said: “A wedding would probably follow in November.” But it is now thought that her sources had mixed up the dates and the timing, with the announcement in November and the wedding the following June.
If so, it is likely there would be a dress rehearsal on Friday June 3 and the ceremony on Saturday June 4.

Prince Harry apparently drowned his sorrows during a recent night out – because his longtime girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, is leaving town.
Harry partied with pals in the VIP area of London hot spot Whisky Mist. He arrived at 11pm on Friday and was seen downing glasses of Dom Pérignon, according to Britain’s News of the World newspaper.
“He was dancing and enjoying himself before going away for military training,” revealed one onlooker. (via Showbiz Spy)
